Rusalkas and eidolons are helpful entities that guide and protect certain ideals. Rusalkas have a certain agenda, but Eidolons are high-end spirits that greatly empower adventures at a cost that they must perform a major quest.
This statement is meant to be both provocative and condescending. Look at these pathetic huddled masses in their private and closed games, cringing behind the policy of no homebrews and no custom content. This is an insult and injury even to fire types. HEED THIS! Your better off playing rpgmaker. It's everything this place wants to be when it grows up. Seriously. Otherwise, good luck, they will overdo things. All because of safety and security... kor.
I know... hopefully they won't turn a blind ear on this idea, though. *sigh* - at least I can help the process by trying to make a proper lore book.

If you know it's not a D&D Beyond Issue, but a Wizards of the Coast issue, perhaps make your suggestion in a WotC feedback forum. This is a DnDB feedback forum.
... people always make excuses just to slam things down nowadays. There a good reason I DONT: greed.
They probably have their own plans on that, if at all. Besides, I suspect that D&D never had such.

Excuses. Nowadays, few realize how they are trolling, but not me. Yes, I'm a smart alek, but trying not to be a jerk.

Two things.
First, eidolons are already in the game, though they may not be what your were expecting.
Second, DDB has no control over what gets added to the game. That duty falls on Wizards of the coast.

(Also, ears can't be blind; they'd be deaf.)

No, I think the point he was making is that you were making your suggestion in the wrong place.
To suggest content to be added to the D&D game you want to make your suggestions over on the WotC forums, because they make the game.
Curse only has control over the D&D Beyond site, not the content they add to it.
If you really want to share your ideas on D&D Beyond, you'd have a better time over at the homebrew section of the forum
