That could well be a concern, but it's worth noting that there are no official item cards for DnD, and that the information is all printable right now. It would just be nice to be able to print it in a better format.

I understand the reasoning. I would be surprised if Beyond's license to the D&D content didn't explicitly forbid making printable handouts other than the character sheets though. That would be very silly, since WotC has licensed spell cards etc. Even though there are no item cards from WotC right now, it would be a pretty hilarious failure if they had just given away the rights to those by writing a bad contract.

There actually are official magic item cards for D&D 5e by Gale Force 9 (same people as the spell cards and the new monster cards). They're supposed to be released any moment now (well, last month, then early this month, but they're still not in my hands so they don't seem to have been released yet).
This isn't a real concern or suggestion, but I'm new and I want to join a campaign, but I can't find my DISCORD whatever-it-is. Please PM me if you can help?

Played D&D for about a year, with my uncle. People don't play it enough, but it's making a comeback. Thank you, Stranger Things!
Oh that’s awesome news! Didn’t know this was happening. Also I’d guess that this at least means blank cards for custom items. Would of course still love some dndbeyond integration, even if it was a paid for service.
