I understand the "Spell Attack" section is for cantrips that require an attack (d20) roll, however it really should included damage cantrips that force a saving throw as well (acid splash, sacred flame, poison spray, etc). Considering how often cantrips are used (and the intent of these specific spells is to "attack" and do damage), it would make sense to have them right up there.
If you expand the spell in the "Spells" section, you should see an expanding section called "customize" that reveals an unchecked box labelled "Display as Attack". Check it and the spell will appear in the "Spell Attack" section.
Thank you this was very helpful!
I checked, but it doesn't seem like the same thing is available for spells via "magic initiate", correct? (other than "other spell attacks known")
I too would like the ability to display cantrips gained via the Magic Initiate feat as attacks.
As a work around, I've gone in and fudged a bit - I "say" that I'm picking up lesser used or more utility focused cantrips with Magic Initiate, and then "learn" the actual attack cantrips as part of my normal class progression, so that I can display them as attacks.
Racial features that add spellcasting abilities (like the forest gnome's Natural Illusionist feature or the high elf's Cantrip) are added when you choose a race ... but those spells don't appear on the spellcasting sheet. I know they do appear in the Features section under Racial Traits, and it seems that if you choose a spellcasting class, it's mentioned (as a Traits/Features: Racial Traits item), but it would be fantastic if the relevant spell appeared on the spellsheet when exporting the character sheet.
The feat "Ritual Caster" and the invocation "Book of Ancient Secrets" don't have dropdown options to add a PC's chosen ritual spells. I created a homebrew magic item (Book of Ritual Spells) to compensate, but it feels like this should already be a feature for these abilities (as it is for "Magic Initiate").
Overrides and Add ons:
Will there be an option for a DM or PC to override/add on certain sections? An example would be if a DM wants to reward a Feat to a player for a certain downtime activity/quest, however the option to add additional feats outside normal progression doesn't really exist yet. A player still has to wait for the "Ability Score Increase" option under their class to pick a feat. Similar problem if a DM wants to give a player a boon, charm, blessing, ability, or spell a character wouldn't normally have access to.
A creative way to implement this would be to copy the "Magic Item" and "Spell" sections at the top of the homepage. It could be called "Abilities", with "Create an Ability" as a homebrew option.Existing Templates would include feats/boons/blessing/abilities that are already mentioned in the PHB, DMG, and MM. The "Ability Type" dropdown would include Ability, Feat, Boon, Charm, Blessing, etc. Everything else could be recycled from the other "Create" options (Additional Information, Add a Modifier, Add a Condition, and Add a Spell).
Once the new Ability is created, it could be added on the character sheet under the Features section. There would be an additional dropdown simply titled "Other", or "Bonus Abilities" where you could find and add them (in addition to being reflected under the Limited Use,Spells, and Attack sections, if appropriate).
I've noticed that in the warlock character build the only option for patron is the Fiend. Its probably on Curses long list of additions. Archfey and Great Old One missing, along with associated spell lists.

Thats is because the Fiend is the only free archetype. The others must be unlocked with a purchase. Check the Marketplace.
These are all good points! Ritual options are a must, and I really like your idea for creating special tabs that would allow a DM to override rules and/or reward characters with extra boons, feats, abilities, skills, blessings, spells, etc., and have them show up on a character sheet under "special features" with drop-down menus to add "other." Although maybe I would come up with better names/labels than "abilities" or "create an ability" for those specific tabs (labels that are more inclusive). Hmmm... perhaps use "special features" and "create special feature" labels instead, since such options would provide so much more than just abilities.

Thank you!
"Special Features" is a much better name than "Abilities" and far more inclusive.
Best way to handle Mage Armor until they implement it is to make a Homebrew item. If you clone it from Elven Chain, you get the right AC and Proficiency: Self, and just have to raise the DEX limit and remove the +1.
I'd imagine they'll do something built-in at some point.

Or you could clone it from elven chain and switch the base armor to studded leather.

warlock invocations are still really limited the rule for changing invocations doesn't work properly "Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the invocations you know and replace it with another invocation that you could learn at that level." as written that means at level 5 you should be able to change an old level 2 invocation for a level 5 one and at level 6 you can have all level 5 invocations. having the invocations do no level checking of any kind would be more functional than how it works now where its an incorrect checking.
currently you can't read what invocation is which when picking them also necessitating opening a second window or book with the rules which is annoying.
Book of ancient secrets now has management for the 3 cantrips it grants, but no management for the rituals gained by the feature
Not sure if this has been mentioed but there isn't away to temporarily reduce stats due to spell effects without editing your character sheet and manually changing that stat

Does that actually happen in the rules, anymore? I thought it was usually some sort of penalty to checks.
There should really be settings to assign ownership to characters as a DM, as it stands its impossible to do pregenerated characters for new people you have to login to their accounts.
Also you should be able to designate other people as co-dm or have DM view

There are a few spells or effects that cause it. Feeblemind for example
First off, I love this site so much. It's well put together and just great in general. That said, I just transferred a character from paper to code on this site and noticed that quite a few backgrounds are not implemented yet. For example, I got kind of crazy with my character and made a bard who is a charlatan. Crazy right? But sadly "Charlatan" was not in the pull down bar when I went to choose it. It could just be something I'm missing or a rule of some kind I just never knew. But I digress as I love this website entirely even though I still feel it has a little ways to go still. I think this idea is fantastic and I love everything about website and I'm excited for the future of this place.

A few more things....
Hope those both made sense!

What no Drow(dark Elf) you raceist people????
A question or issue. How do I get the spell mage armor to affect my AC? I cast it on the sheet and I don't see an update to the AC.
And a bug. If I equip a Staff of Power and a Robe of Stars I only get +2 to saving throws instead of the combined +3.

That's clever!

The listings below need to be in a Settings" or "Preferences" page. Once they are set then would stay.
Homebrew Content
Allow custom content to be used for this character
Story-based character progression / XP-based character progression (Milestone should NOT be default!!)
Use the standard encumbrance rules / Disable the encumbrance display / Use the more detailed rules for encumbrance
When leveling up, increase hit points by the fixed value for your chosen class or manually enter a rolled value.
Display an entry for Unarmed Strike in the Attacks section
