Here's some easy feedback: are there plans to add additional character portraits, such as the ones already released for Volo's Guide and Storm King's Thunder? I made a bird man and there was no bird man option for portraits.
Not sure if reported, but spells on the character sheet don't flag Concentration spells. Ideally you'd be able to filter these spells by Concentration Yes and No when selecting spells. Would also be great to have a Concentration icon pop up when you hit the cast button for these spells so players remember they have an active spell. A warning pop up when attempting to cast another Concentration spell when you already have one active would help as well.
I've done a few searches, and I can't seem to find anything in the forums about the Roguish Archetypes. I'm playing as an Arcane Trickster right now, and was bummed to see that the Rogue is missing both the Arcane Trickster and Assassin character types in the character builder. Just wanted to point that out in case it hasn't been mentioned yet. Love the app, but unfortunately I won't be able to use it for now with my current character :(
I am missing a quick overview of the languages you know on the character sheet (perhaps in the proficiencies tab?). At the moment, one has to check in both the racial traits and the background, and for the elf I created, I can't see the language selected for the Extra Language feature at all. (Perhaps I am just missing something obvious here).
Another feature that I think would be useful is the ability to copy a character (e.g. for planning out the next level without changing the character used in a campaign).
Introducing new people who DONT want to spend 20 min character building (though that's the best part :) ) and having the ability to make a character in less then a min makes it easier for them to get into it. I've tried multiple versions of a quick build and this is, by far, the best. Awesome Job!!!!!!!
When I made a variant human, it asked me to pick the stats for the bonus, but then it didn't reflect those in the "racial" when it got to the point-buy page. Couldn't tell if it was working or not, so I added the +1s manually, which then turned into +2s at the end.
Overall I guess it's good for people who are learning to make their first character? I found it really clunky and slow, with having to open up every little tab and pick things in a specific order, which was not the order I wanted to pick things in. I can't see myself ever using this - I already have digital character-building tools that are faster and more flexible. I really tried to look for a reason to use this, but I can't find one.
I haven't looked through this whole thread to see how much of this has already been covered... but:
Wood Elf walking speed is currently showing 30'. The Fleet of Foot feature should put this up to 35' but it's not reflected in the character stats at the top of the page.
A Quarterstaff on a monk should be effectively a finesse weapon, its attack value in the character sheet would indicate that it's using Strength even though my Dexterity is higher.
This might be different while in game, but only the attack dice for the base wielding of the quarterstaff is visible (1d6) - it's versatile, so there should be a two-handed (1d8) option available.
As mentioned by serfdomKing at the top of this page - unarmed strikes don't appear in the Attacks list on the sheet.
Absolutely. A human build prompts to select a skill proficiency, but I don't have the Cleric skill options memorized and I don't want to duplicate or have to go back and rework things.
Love the character creator and tracker! Some notes for the next step: helping people create realistic sizes and ages for their character by having it referenced on that page-- or even some sort of slider. It also would have been easier to select my background first and then my ideal, bond , trait, etc from a drop down menu. This also would be useful for clerics or paladins to be able to choose their deity (directly from drop downs).
Keep up the great work! I'm excited to start my next campaign!
Character Sheet Improvement: would love it if spell DC was more clearly visible in either the Header or at the top of the Spells tab. "What's my DC?" is one of the most common questions I get when running a session.
Hello. I don't know if you've been asked this before, but are there any plans to and the other subclasses and backgrounds that are in the PHB, but aren't on the website at all. I'm really excited to use this site, and it looks better than any other online character sheets I could fine, but I'm having trouble since, well, I really like using less common subclasses. The lack of Wanderer background and oath of ancients subclass is the only thing keeping me from using this site instead of my clunky current google docs set up.
The Character Sheet is a little difficult to follow and kind of over-complicated - a more traditional character sheet layout, on PC at least, would be a lot nicer. Someone else said that they wanted info like weapon stats to be displayed without having to click 20 things and I agree. Some more important details are a little hidden.
It would be nice to be able to choose basic starting equipment from a menu like in Walter Kammerer's character sheet app in the Play Store. I'd also like to be able to roll for personality traits, bonds, etc within the website.
Also, it would be nice to be able to use Unearthed Arcana classes and races when the builder is out of beta. I'd love to make my own homebrew classes and races and use ones that other people have made like with the spells and monsters too.
I cant find how i can equip my Fists as weapons
i know it sounds odd but im building a monk so....
also are the Feats not available on purpose or is that a glitch?
also only one monk 3rd lvl path is choosable

I love a good portrait.

Edited because I missed the note regarding character levels. :)

Rebuilding one of my characters with this. I don't see how to add "staff of thunder and lightning" to my equipped weapons list.

Chandelierianism: Not just for interns anymore.

Just a typo to report: "The age entry noles the age when a member..." on the "choose a race" page of the character builder.

Tome Warlocks can't pick their extra cantrips, so far as I can tell.
We do bones, motherf***ker!
Love everything! 1 bug so far
Draconic Resilience should be giving me AC=13+dex for being unarmored. It is showing AC=10+dex
Love the builder and the sheets are beautiful!
Why there is no Forest Gnomes available on Character Creation?
