Currently there is no way to easily roll dice in the PBP forum. It would be nice to have something that allows you to type:
[1d6+5]
And get back [1d6+5] => 9
This way the DM has a way of knowing what the player rolled without some other 3rd party system. Possibly once the character sheet/builder is in place a player could just reference his character and the attack he wants to do like [[dritz:attack:long-sword]] and it would calculate it. The second is, of course, a nice fluff feature but the first suggestion would help immensely.
This, this is a great idea. The second idea might be fluff, but when combined with rolling dice, it would streamline combat immensely. Too many times have I forgotten to add a modifier and not done damage because of it (oops.....)

Or just a whole PBP section with rolling buttons built in.
There is already a forum section for it. It wouldn't be hard at all to write something for it.
