I have a few characters from previous campaigns that I no longer play except for the occasional about one shot once a year. I would love a feature to hide character sheets in an to held reduce the clutter on the "My Characters" page.
I was just looking at the Hero Tier subscription wishing I could make a folder for each character. Then I could keep every level of a character and not have to worry about naming conventions to sperate different characters and levels.
edit: that would be a good Hero and Master feature. And what would be really cool is if you could add an image to the folder. So if you split up your content by character or type of play it would visually stand out.
I agree! It's true that exporting to PDF is always a solution, but then it's a pain to have to delete and remake characters if you want to use ANY of the website's functionality for them.
I use the character creator to make NPCs a lot of the time, and more than once I've had an NPC join my players in combat but since I've deleted them from here to stop clutter, I have to run them from their sheet rather than being able to use the app.
I also kinda just like making random characters when I'm bored or trying to find inspiration, and it'd be nice not to have to choose which I keep on here as backups and which I don't.
Off-Topic Sidenote: An alternate solution could be to add a functionality to scan character sheets. I mean most use a standard template, you could probably put something together to scan uploaded images to recognize the values and where they are and then plug them into the character creator. If you were really ambitious you could even try scanning the handwriting for character info and inventory if you were really ambitious. Sure maybe it couldn't find everything to complete the character sheet or source all the numbers perfectly, but it'd be super easy to just them prompt the user to fill in the rest or select the connections. Or even just override values without explaining them. Seems probably more work than it's maybe worth but hey, that's why it's in the sidenote. Still, could be cool. Seems like an odd thing to offer as a hero or master bonus but I guess they could.

Folders are planned (I think). You can also rename them with several Zs at tge front so they go to the back when you sort by name.
I was just searching if folders had been planned!
