Love the app, and hope it's better. I think these 2 sections are highly required. A notes and a bookmarks section in the campaign viewer and allow for bookmarks folders to be linked to a campaign.
Also would love to be able to pin monster stat tables and other useful tables and/or images to the campaign viewer kind of a proper DM screen for those of us using a tablet or phone to run the game.
I primarily run my Dnd campaign off of a tablet, encounters however are only on a web browser and not currently in an app format. Is there a possibility to get this integrated into the app?
Would it be possible to add a dice roller to the campaign game log for the DM to roll dice whether to refer to a table, or just a random encounter roll. I will frequently be using the app reading books and there is no way for me to roll on a table to plan the game without going to a Character sheet. Is this something that is in the works?
Would love to have a landing page for the campaign including the invite link, notes, and character management in the same way as it functions on the desktop web app.
So far I love the direction this app is going. I am new to D&D and It may have been mentioned before, but since I don't know all the spells it would be extremely helpful for a pop-up or link in the game log for the player's spell so the DM can read it and understand and decide if it works or can see the spell save dc and type.
I would like to have a feature to switch the DM in an existing campaign (a friend of mine and I share the DM position and we switch every chapter or two). And it would be nice if the players and the DM can see all the campaign notes in the mobile app, you've made in the browser-version.
Hello I like this site/app but it would be nice to be able to add Homebrew campaign specific things like languages. You have such things for a few standard campaign worlds (like Dragonlance), but it would be nice to create hombrew languages as well.

You can add custom languages in the character sheet in the proficiencies and languages section.
I am a DM. I started playing in the late 1970's and became a full-time DM by 1982. I enjoy storytelling and my favorite campaign resolutions always involve a pun.
When I log into and use sources on D&D Beyond, I would like a global filter of the resources I already own. I find it massively annoying that every time I am looking for a token or a creature or a source, the highest search results seem to be Marketing messages for things I could buy. I am on limited time and usually adapting to player innovation. Wading through the material I don't have access to is irksome and makes me look less prepared. Sometimes I want to look at possibilities, but MOST OF THE TIME, I want to use the toys I already have. The filter of stuff I have access to, that is my #1 ask.
Now let's get into the campaign and managing players...I have to operate at least two screens and several tabs for each player. Why do I need to do this? Thanks for asking, If I am on my campaign screen and I select a player sheet, I am now in a deadend. I cannot easily move between players or encounters or other parts of the campaign while easily referencing back to the campaign. The whole UX is massively clunky. For now I solve it with a bunch of tabs on two 4k widescreen monitors.
The ideal setup for my games is to play in person, in the familyroom. I have my PC and monitor set up where I have a good view of the group on couches with their mobile D&D Beyond apps. We have dice in the middle for them to physically roll. I have my PC linked to a large TV with the player version of any battleground or other session information. Ideally, the D&D Mobile App could link to the player game session so they can move their characters, measure distances and such, then take their turns in initiative order when it is their turn. The look and feel for fully remote games is a little different with everyone on a PC or tablet. I don't like fully remote as much and we usually use Discord instead of native D&D Beyond, but when the 2024 books are out, I'm going to give it a go fully native.
Thanks for the App and everything you do seriously. While the Executive team and Evil Overlords may or may not appreciate you guys the community does.
The APP and Website needs to be reviewed from a User Experience perspective so it is laid out and the options are only 2 to 3 clicks away so it doesn't seem clunky.
We know the Character Builder and Viewer is really good. The DM functions are lacking. For example the APP has no access to Maps or the Campaign Notes.
When using my phone and using maps through the standard web browsing it is difficult to do anything from a DM perspective. Can the Web pages and APP focus on the DM so then the players are looked after too.
I think this is the right place to report what appears to be a bug in the D&D Beyond app (iPhone), Campaigns tab? Campaigns I'm running allow me to access all players' character sheets by tapping on the character in the list. But campaigns I'm in that others are running don't let me access my characters via tapping - I have to go to the Characters tab instead. Is this intended behavior?

Could use the ability to create campaigns
Highlighter feature for DM’s using adventure books?

For some reason I can’t create a non premade campaign other than that I can only assume it’s good

I would love that ability to send the campaign link invite to my players from the mobile app.
