The way I see it, Warforged can easily be just a Reborn as a Reborn can be a Warforged. The thing about the Gothic Lineages is that it can help further a player's view of their character. Example: My DnD Character I had in a group called DnDTime, Anadoltia, was pretty much a living doll. Her backstory was she died, and her would-be patron saved her by placing her soul, as well as others who coincidentally also died in that same moment, into some porcelain dolls in a nearby store. So Anadoltia could be either a Warforged (the DMs created a small-sized variant called Dollbound, which was my original concept's name for them) or a character Reborn as a ball-jointed doll. The thing about Reborn is it replaces the features of it's previous race. Warforged are pretty much the same thing as Reborn with two main differences as a race. Integrated Armor gives a bonus +1 AC as long as you have Armor, and they are immune to magical aging effects. Reborn, while similar, do not have either (Integrated Protection makes sense to not have on Reborn as that is a Warforged exclusive). All in all, you can choose to have whatever you want. The thing about character creation is you don't have to optimize. Just enjoy playing your character how you want.

yap this what i was getting at for you dont have to be a reborn to have the rp hook of "my soul was put in this body" hell you can be a Changeling and use that hook.
and on a related note if you look at the Traits of the Warforged and Reborn the Warforged have -Constructed Resilience-, -Sentry's Rest- , -Integrated Protection-, and -Specialized Design- witch gain one skill proficiency and one tool proficiency of your choice.
the Reborn gets -Darkvision-, -Deathless Nature- (which its a mix of the warforged -Constructed Resilience- and -Sentry's Rest- but the long rest is 4 hours instead of 6 hours) and -Knowledge from a Past Life- that give your ability check that uses a skill a d6 bonus witch You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus it basically a down graded Bardic Inspiration that you always have and i don't see that it says you can't use it with Bardic Inspiration
in short Warforged have good survivability but the Reborn is terrifying on a caster with that 4rh long rest ability.

They also reference a scarecrow and clockwork organs
So, to compensate, could I just "Reconstruct" my Warforged afterwards?
