You can't create or modify a base class in DDB, but you can add a weapon proficiency: give them the feat (go to features & traits > feats > manage feats in the character sheet, not in the builder) Weapon Master. Pick scimitar for one of your 4 extra proficiencies and pick three weapons the PC already has for the others. Pick Dex or Str for the +1, then lower that same stat by 1 again in the builder.
Thanks for that, actually I was fooling around with the char sheet and found that you can manage proficiencies in the "Languages and Proficiencies" pane. I was able to add Scimitar for my character. I didn't quickly see a way to remove Rapier, so I didn't fool with it much more.
You can also just add proficiencies on the sheet. Go to the Proficiency section on the bottom left of the sheet and click it. That should pop up a sidebar on the right side of the page that has a drop-down menu that will let you add extra proficiencies.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Hi is this function not available on the mobile version? Having trouble finding it.
It seems feat is only available at lv 4 (for druid). Does this mean that a character can pick up blacksmithing feat (as an example) at level 4 or at another level when they get the feat perk?
Also under build a character, I can't seem to add a blacksmith/artisan feat. Does this mean I will have to create a homebrew feat?
Unfortunately, you cannot edit proficiencies in the mobile app but it's not too difficult from the site on the phone just follow the instructions above.
yes, a player can pick up any feat the user owns at the incremented levels.
so most feats are restricted from use unless you own the sourcebook the feat came from in d&d beyond. you can homebrew it simply by going to: my homebrew creations > create a... > feat. its a little complicated but there are some very helpful videos on youtube.

I have a rogue, but i want to give him custom proficiencies. I want to remove proficiency with Rapier and add proficiency with Scimitar.
Is there a way to do that?

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
