There is an option in the dice roller settings to add Great Weapon Master for the next roll only. I don't want to have to take the time to open that up every time I want to use it.
I've tried setting up a custom attack and its mostly there, but I can't figure out how to subtract the -5 from the attack roll.
Does anyone know how to set it up on my character sheet so its quick and convenient like the other abilities?
No offense but you think by now that D&D Beyond would have found a way to apply this sort of feature.
I don't know how easy it would be for anyone with the minimum programming skills, but surely a small team could sort his out in say four to six weeks give or take.

The easy option is right there, as nothingbutcold posted. Once created it’s always there unless you change weapons. Which you can just make a second weapon with the modifiers to use.
Sunce it isn’t an always on feature, you choose when to use it, you would have to toggle it on and off as needed. So why not just use the “GWM alternate weapon” instead.
There’s nothing to fix, as it is completely doable right now, and other features that don’t have a “fix” need more attention. Plus 1D&D is on its way so that will have priority going forward (GWM no longer has the -5/+10 option if it stands as per the UA)
I know it's been years since this was posted, but have they ever added this feature? I mean, it should be as simple as clicking a check box to toggle Great Weapon Master on and off, yet I'm looking all over my character sheet, and I can't find a way to actually USE Great weapon master. I just have to roll the attack, do the math myself and tell my DM what I hit, then roll the damage, and again, do the math myself adding the +10. It seems crazy to be doing it this way with a paid VTT.
Don't believe they have, at least not automatically built in. Although there are ways to create your own custom attacks, I think there are still some kinks in that with the roll system, but I don't use their roller so I don't know the limits or areas it fails with this. I've just used it to create the stat block on the character sheet and roll manually. Not much help for online players.

If you have the Beyond20 extension you can add a hotkey that toggle GWM. Once installed there will be a Beyond 20 box on the top of your character sheet next to the short rest box. If you hover over it a dropdown box will appear with a cog on the top right, click on the cog and it will take you to hotkeys. Select a hotkey and then scroll through the list of options you can select, GWM should be near the bottom.
Just add a second weapon of the same type and customize the attack and damage modifiers. Rename it Great Axe (GWM) or whatever, and it's a one click solution.
