So, I feel like I am missing something but maybe this is just not a feature yet?
I give out extra Feats to my players. I've found the current work around of making magic items to reflect these free Feats. I've also home-brewed a bunch of feats for them and I use third party created Feats as well. I can of course make these feats here as homebrewed feats and that isn't an issue.
My question is that I can't seem to figure out how to add in my customized feats to a customized magic item. It only has the list of the feats I've unlocked through the compendium and none of my feats I've created. Is there something I'm missing? Some knob I need to turn or dial I need to twist? I feel like this is a feature that should be there.
If not then I'm okay with just manually adding the feat abilities to the items, but I just wanted to know if there was an easier way.
I was assuming it was missing integration or there was some functionality I was missing. To test it, now that you brought it up, I added a public homebrew feat to my collection and still can't add it to a magic item.
I guess it's just something that doesn't exist yet. That's okay, this is all kind of stop gap measures anyway until they put in the ability to just give extra stuff to players.
I have been trying to create magic items that give feats but so far I haven't been successful... do you have any advice as to how you achieve this with your characters?

I haven't tried myself, but might it have to do with the fact that your feats are not public?
If they are already public, then it might be a question of missing integration between the two Homebrew functionalities.
Born in Italy, moved a bunch, living in Spain, my heart always belonged to Roleplaying Games

Mortambo,

I basically just have the magic item do whatever the feat would do. It's a lot more painful, but it is an acceptable work around for now.
