Is there a way to set up a campaign or even do this a single character at a time? In my world each player gets to choose from a handful of feats and now half the group is using DnDBeyond rather than their own sheets.
One you have finished creating your character, you can add a feat from your character sheet. Click on the “Features and traits” tab in the box under your defence information, and scroll to the bottom where you will see “Manage feats.” Click on that, and choose your feat.

I also do this. The Theros book even suggests giving players a supernatural gift or feat, because "heros are special".

The heroes of Krynn revisited unearthed arcana has free feat for backgrounds.
The strixhaven book did the same thing first and isn't playtest so is a better example. But that isn't exactly what we're talking about.
Yep, I'm talking about my world where each culture gets certain Feat options. The Features & Traits--->Manage Feats does exactly that.

Not exactly the same it has a list of feats that are available to characters or any background then grant another at level 4 (list is expanded).
