I can only speak for myself, but without a doubt, the ranger is the least played class of all. I know there's Drizzt (as was pointed out), and Legolas and Robin Hood are mainstays of fantasy and adventure - but even so, I'm sure bard is far more common. Most of the other choices cannot be traditional - if you ask me - because they're newer additions to the system.

Cleric - Goody-two-shoes
I vote Bard - the idol / face
