Is there a view I'm failing to find where I can have the stat blocks of a set of monsters visible together? I thought there'd be something in the encounter builder but don't see it.
I ALMOST get this by expanding certain results in search results, but I have to scroll past all the clutter of the headings I haven't expanded. Plus the search is too limited https://vlc**** to allow me to get just the monsters I want without a huge number I don't.
The goal here is to run an in-person session, so I'm not actually running the encounter in a device.
You could take a screenshot of the ones you need. None of the stat blocks are that large so you could easily have several open on your screen at a time.
Multiple tabs is an idea. Just save the ones you use regularly and then open them as a tab group/new window.
Encounters will probably improve at some point and are probably the "preferred" way they would want you to have stat blocks open.
Yeah, I almost always have multiple tabs open. A few for the stat blocks, one for initiative tracking, one for my plot notes, and one for any random lookups I need to do on the fly.
Then again, I use a laptop so it's easier than using a phone or something.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Do you need to see them all at once or just be able to quickly navigate them all? When you are running an encounter, you should be able to click any monster in it to see their details. (I can't remember if this behavior is different in the builder and can't test immediately)
Edit: for the record, I usually have a tab for each complex monster and use the run encounter interface for simple ones like goblins
