Out of curiosity anyone else here get an email saying they're going to offer refunds for the shipping price?
No but I didn't put in a ticket around it. Ready to just write them off but if you get a refund let us know.
that's actually why it caught me by surprise I didn't put in a ticket either any way's here's a screenshot of the email(and yes I left my name there, I'm not worried about that.)
*Edit: Forgot to mention the email came from dndstore@scalefast.com
After the Spelljammer fiasco, I don't pre-order until I have seen reviews. Spelljammer was the biggest piece of garbage yet put out by WotC. I don't use hard copy versions of the books. I used to use my books a lot when running and playing D&D 5e, they lasted me less than a month before falling apart at the bindings. I use D&D Beyond now, and despite them going down during several of my sessions, it is still better than the garbage they call books in my case.

I made the foolish mistake of pre-ordering all the new Books (Standard Covers!) direct from Wizards (Scalefast) and a week after release I've had no book, no postal info and no reply to my Ticket. Meanwhile people who order the PHB get it days later and shops near me on on their 2nd stock.
I am close to doing a Chargeback and just buying the books (cheaper) from elsewhere.

If I can't say something nice, I try to not say anything at all. So if I suddenly stop participating in a topic that's probably why.

Well of course you should never order from DND direct. You should get all your books, dice, and accessories direct from a locally owned store.
WOTC web site has a store locator feature that will help direct you.
For myself the only DND Material I have ever ordered online were Digital content right here.
