My group uses DNDBeyond and Roll20 (using the chrome expansion), and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the GOCUBE Dice RPG set... I see they work in Roll20 but how about connecting to DNDBeyond?
I kickstarted the Pixel Dice but saw how cheap the GoCube ones are and am a bit curious since my pixel dice might be another 2 years if they deliver.
Those look neat, but do they work for every TTRPG polyhedral? I only see the default d6 and a d20 shell you plug the d6 into ... do they have d4, d8, d10, d12? Like what if I'm playing on a d100 system?
Regardless, I doubt we'll see them supported on DDB anytime soon, if ever. The DDB service has been notably insular, walled off from the rest of the digital tools developed for TTRPGs, and it looks like D&D itself will be doubling down on that approach in the next iteration of D&D. But who knows.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
As a programmer, i can promise you that's not how its going to work sadly.
All of these beyond extensions out there are ran by programmers operating in open source repos on github. These projects take a lot of dedicated people who love the tool to help out and maintain it when d&d beyond decides to change up there codes and break those extensions. This is because beyond doesn't want you to use other VTT. They want you to use the digital dice, the beyond crappy VTT, and nothing else. They actually have proven they don't want to work with anyone...... but sometimes give in for the money.
Most likely, cause im looking at them too. Enough people would have to beg the programmers on the project (contributers) to make an update that could patch over the dice to the extension (like pixels does - there's a major software wall for anyone to get bluetooth dice to talk to beyond sheets). Most likely in order to use the Go dice, you will have to switch to a R20 character sheet to use it. Would be cool.... but its D&D, when have they ever listened to what WE WANT? There's literally a 12 year old post about custom languages on the sheet and its an ongoing joke that every year someone post "its year xxxx and still no custom language."
Just don't be the guy who rolls a single D6 8 times for Fireball or a D4 4 times for greater healing. D4s are the worst, I guess becasue they're harder to "roll," it's this weird flipping motion.

Curious if these work or not as would grab if do
it works with Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Discord so i belive we can play with beyond/roll20 integration and making godice rolls on roll20
i'd love to see support for dndbeyond and new dnd vtt
so far 2d6 works like a charm at roll20 session :)
rpg shells are being shipped.
