I have made some changes. Here is a copy of the character with the changes I made https://ddb.ac/characters/92139767/WPmR4h. Having such low CHA might seem weird for a Cleric, but it fits with him spending his entire life since being a toddler in the temple. He is educated and brave but not very charismatic - not a teacher or a great leader. I also really wanted Scale Mail, so he needed that little bit extra STR so that he was not encumbered.
I also switched the racial feat for War Caster for an advantage on CON saves to maintain concentration on spells, and the ability to cast, while holding a weapon or shield.
Does it look any better?

I will say that Spare the Dying is a terrible cantrip for anyone except a Grave Cleric. You have a +5 to medicine checks, and a Healer's Kit gets you 10 charges of the same for 5gp.
I would personally go with Guidance to get additional out of combat utility. It's a great way to RP too, as every time you cast it you can just say you're saying a quick prayer over your comrade or go so far as to shout out "Mystra's fire burns within you!"
I completely agree with this. I'd also replace GFB with Grasping Touch.
