Welp the 25% off for subscribers was sort of pointless in the end... Glad that I waited until today before I got it, used the SOURCETHANKS and LEGENDARYTHANKS together to pay < 200$ instead of the 300+ I would have had to with the 25% off....
I love this thread (and DND Beyond, thanks for the coupons!) but next time maybe make the subscriber coupon a bit more useful? (I wonder how many people used it for the Legendary and ended up getting less off than the ones who just used LEGENDARYTHANKS)

I think the THANKS discount codes were as a sort of apology to everyone for the downtime. They do seem to mention it in conjunction with the downtime in the latest dev update.
I am looking for any working codes to help me get at least the palyers handbook. Please message me.
Bookthanks is 5$ off per book.
Sourcethanks and legendarythanks reduce the price of the sourcebook and legendary bundles respectively (I recommend using them in this order if going all in).
So to buy all the books, the best way is to first buy the sourcebook bundle with the code: Sourcethanks And then afterwards buy the legendary bundle with the code legendarythanks?
In regards to this you have to do it one at a time. I tried with several books and only got $5 off.
I assume that the original implementation was incorrect, allowing it to stack per book (based on other posts in the thread), but that that error ended up being fixed.

I believe you'd come out the same either way. If you have nothing, the Sourcebook bundle is roughly $305...$230 after discount. Legendary is $632 or $482 after discount.
Let's say you buy the Sourcebook bundle first, drop $230 on it. That gets applied to the Legendary bundle. The legendary bundle is now $402 before the discount, and is reduced to $252 after discount. $230 for the Sourcebooks and $252 to complete it sets to back a total of $482. Might as well go straight with the Legendary Bundle if that's what you want.

As far as I've read, that is correct. It should effectively give you 225$ off the legendary bundle. Let us know if they changed this.

Actually this is incorrect. Unlike normal discounts where you get say 20% off the price and the bundles get discounted for the amount you payed, with the THANKS codes you get a fixed price discount which is also applied to the bundles as if you actually paid the full price.
So your example would be: SB bundle 305$, with discount you pay 230$. LB bundle gets reduced from 632$ to 327$. You use the LB discount and the LB bundle is then 177$. In the end you pay 407$ to get everything which would usually cost you 632$.
It would be interesting to see if the BOOKTHANKS code can be used to reduce the price further. I don't know if it has gone from per book to one book, I do know that the code does not get applied to all content (e.g. sapphire dragon and tortle package after the update). It would be best to verify with two full sourcebooks or adventure books.

I suppose it effectively does since it reduced the cost of the book by 5, but reduces the bundle by the book's full cost. If it still works on multiple books, you could buy 10 book (making sure to save at least 75$ worth in bundle) for 50$ off, get the last 3 books with sourcethanks for around 5-15$ (depending on what books you left), then use legendarythanks. Total savings 275$ (but only if the book code can still work on multiple books).

It would actually be interesting to see a post from someone that has tried that then, because bundles have always been discounted based on the amount of money spent towards them, not the value of what was purchased.
Nevermind, I just decided to be the guinea pig and put money towards it, and my assumptions were still correct. The amount you spend is what is deducted from the overall cost of the bundle. Trying to cheat the system via BOOKTHANKS or SOURCEBOOKTHANKS prior to LEGENDARYTHANKS does nothing to diminish the overall price paid. If you want the Legendary, go legendary. Don't just psych yourself out via multiple purchases.

That just doesn't seem to be true... unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying. I just bought the Sourcebook bundle for $230 ($75 off) then the Legendary bundle for ~$170 (Legendary cost - the full cost of the Sourcebook bundle before the $75 off - $150 discount). So in total, I paid ~$400 in all when the original price was around ~$625, so a difference of $225, which is the sum of both discounts.

Hold up. Let me put the math to it again. I started with the single book deal. Really made no difference. I just bought the sourcebook bundle, and the legendary price is still close to $200. Better than I thought it would be, but still quite a bit more than $170. Granted, I’ve mostly been in for the sourcebooks. Haven’t DMed a premade campaign outside of Lost Mine yet. Lol. Maybe I will, but the legendary would need to prove to be a heck of a deal.

I hope your joking! Ha...ha....ha....
This is very kind of you! I don't need the codes so I haven't used them, but to whoever does, please post here to let us know they've been used! :)
Thank you for posting these! I have used the 50% PHB one.
