I'm trying to decide what/how to buy and could use some feedback. I want to buy the Legendary pack, but I want to wait until theirs a coupon for it as it's not critical I buy it now. I heard if I buy the sourcebook bundle the amount I pay for it will come off the Legendary Pack. Will the discount still apply to the Legendary pack in that case? For example, if I buy the sourcebook bundle now, and later there's a $150 coupon again for the legendary pack, will I get both? So $637.19 - 310.37 - 150 = $176.82, is that correct? If it works like that I'll just buy the sourcebook bundle now, it it's not I'll hold off on it until the discount comes around.

All bundles are always discounted by the amount you've already paid for content you've purchased that's in that bundle. And yes, as far as I know, that discount stacks with any discount from a single discount code you use on the purchase of the bundle. So assuming your prices are accurate, that math is correct. You're basically never wasting money by buying part of X now and then buying the whole thing later, where X is a single book, the Sourcebook or Adventure Bundle, or the Legendary Bundle - the pack is always discounted by what you've already bought from it.
I'm in the same boat. I own several of the physical books and really don't want to rebuy them at full price.
Get the essentials kit for the 50% coupon on the players handbook. That is the best deal. From there, buy parts of books as needed. Get the full book when you get coupons or sales.
Black Friday and this $150 off code were very kind to me.
I have just done everyone a huge favour. I bought Explorer's Guide to Wildemount without a discount code. New discount codes should now be coming very soon. You're welcome.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but if I already own the legendary bundle, and get the discount on the future books (such as Wildemount and Theros) can I use a code to get a further discount, or will the discount just come off as whichever one offers the most at the time? Thank you!
Man, I'm so anxious to get a hold of the sourcebook bundle, but I just need that 25% off to be able to afford it.
Here's the trick:
Step 1. Buy the books you absolutely NEED. This would be the Player's Handbook and Xanathar's Guide to Everything for starters. If you plan to DM, then by all means grab the Monster Manual and Dungeon Master's Guide. Those aren't completely necessary, but helpful for a DM.
Step 2. Enjoy the books you just purchased on Beyond. Utilize the Character Builder to a fuller extent and really see what this site has to offer. Rest assured knowing that even though you paid full price for individual books, every dollar will go towards a bundle down the line when they go on sale (should you choose to wait long enough for another sale to come around).
Step 3. Buy the Bundle with or without the sale, knowing that you still got a great deal because Beyond is a great value, even at its most expensive and don't sweat the small things.
Step 4. Get a subscription, start a campaign, share with friends and utilize your purchases to their maximum limit. Become a legend.
That's my advice. If you can't afford everything at once, there really isn't any point in holding out. The way Beyond structures their purchase model allows previous purchases to be applied to the bundles later on. That means, if you use a coupon out of the physical Essentials Kit for half off the PHB, you buy it for $15, that $15 goes towards a bundle. If you skip the essential's kit and don't use a coupon and end up paying the full price of $30 for the PHB, that $30 will be applied to the bundle.
What I'm saying is that if you invest the $60 for the PHB and XGtE (as they are what I consider the most MUST HAVE purchases) that $60 will still apply to a bundle later on if you are really holding out for a sale. It will be like a double sale! Take this advice or leave it, but as a Legendary Bundle owner, this is exactly how I started. I also had no intention of buying a bundle when I started. I only wanted the two books. Then it became three. And, I saw the benefits of Beyond and how easy and convenient it made everything. My first time to DM from the site really sold it for me and I bought the Legendary the next day. No regrets.
Don't even buy the entire book. Just buy the parts you can't live without then fill in the blanks when you can.

Here's the thing, if he's saving up for it anyways then buying the bundle when a sale goes up is worth it, especially if he has to wait for a sale to reasonably afford it. While I agree to get the things you absolutely need separately, I understand the want/need for a good discount and if he's willing/able to wait then he should because patience really pays off here.
Good deal on single book < get a great deal on bundle < get an awesome deal on discounted bundle
is there any discount codes cuz idk if the neverwinter one is just once but i'm planning to buy some books so i 'm wondering does neverwinter still work?
Sometimes they're listed in a message at the top of the page (this was the case with January's flat-price discount codes). Sometimes they're shown in Facebook ads. Usually they're mentioned in tweets by D&D Beyond (or similar messages from their partners).

Same, own plenty of books, just need the digital copies now. So codes will be very usefull.
Thanks for taking one for the team! Of course new codes will come now.

Is it just me, or are there no discount codes at this time?
that seems to be the case right now. Probably see something in the spring.
I could've sworn Murphy would have your backs just to spite me, but alas...
