I think the term "drunken" didn't test well with Hasbro.
Hm. I was assuming it was about cultural appropriation, as that's what most of the other name changes are, but I guess it could also be about depiction of alcohol usage in a family friendly product.

And yet ale and wine are priced out in the PHB.
I dunno; frankly I'm not too fussed about what they decide to call the subclass. I expect Drunken Master will still hang around as the unofficial name in any case.
I think it has nothing to do with culture or alcohol, but with the new naming formula. Monk subclasses are now called Warrior of ______, and Warrior of Drunken Master might even be worse than intoxication.
Cavalier doesn't really take advantage of the mount. I bought a horse for a campaign once and ever since there has been no going back. Unless there is some restriction like crawling through the Underdark a horse is such an advantage in combat. This subclass is all based around doing stuff which would require us to remain within 5-feet of an attacker which isn't how people who use mounts are going to play. It looks like every ability is more of an "oh I screwed up and got swarmed" ability than a lets take what the mount already brings to the table and improve it.
The Intoxicated Monk looks interesting but there aren't really enough drinks to make it feel like a good subclass. Maybe I am wrong, but I feel the same about Alchemist and the general lack of potions the subclass brings. At least according to the UA. I am waiting on the new release to confirm.

Ye, but Warrior of Drunken Fist would be cool
