I think it may be helpful to locate a video recording of some actual people playing actual D&D and see if you can get her to watch it, possibly with a pastor in the room to protect her from the demons that she imagines, so that she can actually see the actual thing she is afraid of. The Penny-Arcade crew's campaign is probably the most famous, but they are pretty liberal with language that would no doubt hurt your case. I'm sure someone else can recommend some good ones though.
I mean, seriously, it's collaborative storytelling with some board-game like elements. Saying something like "I cast magic missile at the hobgoblin! it does..." (insert sound of rolling d4s) "10 force damage!" isn't going to make you a sorcerer whose soul is damned to eternal hellfire.
I think if she honestly took a look at what it is you're actually doing her opinion would change to: "Oh, well, that's actually just really boring. How can you sit there doing that for hours at a time?!"
Yeah... the problem with talking logically with them about it is, from their perspective, that that Awake! article linked in the first message is coming directly from God's mouthpiece on Earth. Unless there is new information from the same source (The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society), its my word against God's.
My parents aren't religious, but one of my players has a super Christian mom that we have to keep this from sometimes, especially because my campaign is about demons...woops!
One of my friends is a son of a Christian pastor. ( I’m non religious) one day we were playing some D&D in their living room. At one point his dead came in and asked what was going on so far. His son replied “I just one a drinking competition!” I half expected him to kick me out of his house, it then he just said “that’s my boy” then walked away.
That’s a RIP
