I am writing to you as a dedicated user and a member of the global D&D community. While the platform has transformed the game for many, the lack of comprehensive multi-language support remains a major barrier for players worldwide.
Beyond simply asking for an update, I am seeking transparency regarding your current roadmap.
We believe that for D&D to be truly inclusive, players should be able to flourish in their native language. The current "English-only" or limited support creates a glass ceiling that prevents many international players from fully engaging with the toolset.
Therefore, I would appreciate a clear and direct answer on the following:
Is full localization (character builder, compendium, and interface) currently being developed or actively planned?
If not, is it officially a non-priority for the foreseeable future?
The international community needs to know if these improvements are actually on the horizon or if we should manage our expectations. We value the platform, but we believe we deserve a transparent statement on whether breaking the language barrier is a goal for Wizards of the Coast and D&D Beyond.
I look forward to a candid response that addresses these concerns directly.
If they were planning/developing full localisation and could announce it, they would have announced it. If something is on the roadmap one of two assumptions can/should be made:
It's not in development nor planned to be in development at the current time
It is in/planned for development but cannot be announced
I don't think you're going to get a "candid response" other than something in line with the above.
If the forums are anything to by, where non-English content isn't tolerated even in the Looking for Players & Groups section, then it seems very unlikely that dndbeyond would be offering anything in other languages.
The forums are not anything to go by—the reason that non-English content may be prohibited on the forums comes from a moderation of user-generated content, which also applies to homebrew content. That's completely different from official content.
The utter silence of the company and the shortness that non-english speakers get when they look for information does seem to point to, or at least come off as, a hostility to the non-English speaking fanbase.
Harpers' Hangnails I only speak English, and I am feeling the hostility toward every other language user, I can scarce imagine how they feel.

WotC has a history of being bad at communication, even before the Hasbro buyout.
They're silent to a lot of people, not just non-English speakers.
Kinda comes with not being a small indie company.

The Game Platform rebuild effort unlocks many possibilities. Localization is one of those. It’s going to take us time to get there, but we do eventually plan to expand beyond English.
