Don't really want to reinvent the wheel if there is something already out there, but I'll pull out a sheet paper and make it myself if I need too.
Problem I have had - we played 4th ed for 8 years and the character sheets managed to get pretty dilapidated - when you have erased things like 'temp hp' and 'damage taken' like a jillion times over. I'd like to bring back the old 'player character adventure sheet' for PC tracking so the character sheet will only be edited as needed during session ends and level ups.
The basic layout I'm thinking of would be far left column lists 'loadouts' e.g. [shield & sword, dual hand axes, pike] each has a stat block w/ AC and attack & damage mods. Series of columns rightward labeled 'forays 1, 2, 3...' You tally mark damage taken, hp healed, spell slots used treasure gained in the column. Near the bottom you have [wait - short - long] a blank space and another block to mark damage & HD healed/lost as well as spells/powers regained from rest or wait activities.
For example, you go adventuring and tally some damage in column 'foray 1', the cleric casts prayer of healing. You circle 'wait' and mark '10 minutes' underneath. Tally up your heal and move to the next column (foray 2), transfering your leftover damage tally marks to the top. Continue on and party decides to short rest, circle 'short rest' write in '1 hour' underneath. Under that will be tally of HD used and rest hp healed. Next column...

D&D Beyond is great for that.

Well a pencil and piece of paper doesn't require a power supply, wireless connection or every player to own and shlep around a laptop. :)
