Hi all, not sure this is possible or even something other folks would want, but I thought I would check if it IS possible before posting a sugegestion.
Running a pure rogue/Assassin and decided at 7 to take him in another direction, going away from DPS toward a more skill monkey/spymaster/info gathering/face role. What I decided on was 16 rogue/4 bard.Basically going to 8 rogue, then swapping to Bard until 12, then back to Rogue to 20 (if I ever get there.....right now Im mainly concerned with 8-12).
: In the character creator I have created a duplicate of my current character (manually) and tweaked it so I would know the level progression, ASIs, feats, spells, etc I want to take as I level. Mainly so I dont have to think about it later and so I dont have to write down what I would do at each level.
The questions I have:
1) Is there a way to show what a character would look like at say level 10 even though you have made choices all the way to 20?
2) If not, is there a way to preserve the choices if I down level by just changing the levels for the two classes? Right now if I down level from 20 to say 10, then go to 12 to look at the stats, etc everything resets.
3) If no good options exist, how do you guys handle this. I cant be the only person running into this issue, right?
1) No. 2) No. 3) Some people make multiple copies of the character at different levels (pretty much requires a subscription to do this). I just have 1 character that I change when I want to test something. If I need to scale something down, then up again, i reselect options again.
I have a sub, so I guess I could create several copies and do it that way. Just seems like being able to see the stats, etc at a specific level should be available.
Thanks for the answer.
