Yes, there are ongoing changes being made on Roll20s end lately that is breaking the formatting. The rolls are going though, just in the ugly purple boxes rather than nicely formatted. It comes and goes as they (Roll20) makes changes. Nothing Beyond20 can do about it, unfortunately.
Yes, Roll20 have been changing things this week, it comes and goes as they seem to be testing something. I've already made the change to support the new detection method, available in the dev version of Beyond20. I expect I'll do a new smaller update sooner rather than later, to allow for this to work. Just waiting a bit more to make sure they decide on a final method, as it would be the second time they change it this month.
Hello, i'm a french user and i want to thanks you. I juste have a small problem, when i click on an action on DnDbeyond, the dice roll on the DnDbeyond page, not on roll20. I see it on the chat of roll20, but not the dice rolling. Can you fix it please ?

This is due to the changes roll20 are making, as referenced above
My group is having an issue with the Beyond20 plug-in and Roll20 in that it suddenly started sending the default roll template through VTT instead of the D&D 5e roll template. Any ideas on how to fix this? We all hate the default roll template!

Roll20 has made changes to its code recently that is affecting this.

Thanks for your response, Uhnk13. Have you had an opportunity to address these changes yet? I tried updating to the latest version of Beyond20 (2.4?) and I still seem to be having this issue. :(

@mPatty Alas, I am not the developer. The last I checked the default blocks were still being used. Note though not as pretty they still contain all the necessary information.

pls help im new and my D&D group is trying to use roll20 instead of D&D beyond but everytime we go in we get
Every time I open a character sheet on D&D Beyond I get a popup that says:
"No VTT found that matches your settings. Open a VTT window, or check that the settings don't restrict access to a specific campaign."
what does this mean and how do we fix this?
as long as you are running the DNDBeyond extension in your browser, it's looking for a VTT (like Foundry or Roll20, etc). If you dont have one open, then you get that particular error message. It won't affect anything on DNDBeyond, so don't worry too much about it. When you open a VTT the error will go away.
Just a warning to every Foundry VTT user, DON'T update to 0.8.6 when it releases on Monday as Beyond20 currently doesn't work with 0.8.x due to a dice change.

This would also apply to most modules for Foundry VTT as well!

Yep. A minor update release will drop tonight with support for 0.8.6 and a few small bugfixes.
I just ask because If you were using foundry you could import it from DDB and just customize it afterwards. I am not sure how to help you with roll20.
Anyone else seen changes to roll20 and no longer getting the dice roll etc when using Beyond20?
I suspect roll20 have made some changes

The latest update seems to slow down Firefox when running with ddb against Foundry 0.7.9
