It's worth noting this demon can bend reality in his lair, taking away all of our equipment last time we were there (my dude is pretty hard headed and tried to fight him anyway, as he had an item we needed for a quest and wanted someone's soul in exchange, and talking was going nowhere).
You need to get the demon to leave his lair. Bending reality and therefore removing weapons, means what every you have to include holy water will not help. Only the DM will be able to agree the demon leaves his lair, so plot device or not, how do you get the DM to have the demon leave?
That might be your actual question.
How do i convince my DM to have this reality bending demon to leave his protective lair?
(Answer might be using the Warlock's patron) Could it be the warlock is a plot device, but not as an unkillable demon, but as a way to lure/get the demon into a place that he can be killed? Roleplay might actually be the weapon you initially asked for?
I made this weapon in one of my last campaign for a player character aiming to become a reknowned demon hunter.
FIENDBANE
Weapon (any melee weapon), rare
You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The bonus increases to +3 when you use the weapon to attack a Fiend. When you roll a 20 on an attack roll made with this weapon, the target takes an extra 7 Radiant damage, or 14 Radiant damage if it's a Fiend. If a Fiend has 25 Hit Points or fewer after taking this damage, it is destroyed.

Why bludgeoning damage vs the weapons normal damage type?
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
It was inspired by a Bludgeoning weapon but its Radiant as corrected.
Cool.
