I have recently been looking around the map of Toril and struggling to decide where my campaign should take place. I definitely want the campaign to be set in the Forgotten Realms but not in Faerun, also I want its climate to be cold so somewhere in the North of Toril, if anybody has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

REMEMBER: Wizards Of The Coast does not own DDB, they are two different companies. When you buy a physical book, WotC receives the money you bought it for, not DDB and vice versa. If you want a digital key to get an online book for free because you have the hardcopy book then DDB makes no money because you don't buy off DDB you buy off WotC, so please stop making threads about this issue. DDB needs money to continue helping people and servers aren't cheap.
You know..I have a game where I had a huge plan of what the story beats were going to be...and literally everything the players did changed EVERYTHING. They caused the fall of an Empire, they started the process of an evil God reviving, they have destabilized a delicate power structure in a major city. Where the game has gone is completely different from where it was originally planned. The mark of a good GM is "When the players change things, they never know you didn't expect them to do that.."
