Elves seems like a boring answer, but I've usually changed up the rulebook to make my own subraces and lore behind them and honestly I love making creative elf types. My favourite things are usually the ones I put work in like my own races and such.
I really like them all, depending on what I want to play. Beyond just D&D Centaurs have always been a favorite of mine, but don't often work out well in RPGs. I'm not sure if the mechanics allow it, but I can't imagine a centaur climbing up the narrow rungs of a ladder in some dungeon or sewer. I kind of want to try making a Centaur character but don't want to get left out of stuff, I'd probably have to be some class that allows me to alter my shape.
I'm new, so I'm partial to my main character that's a half elf, but one of my party members is a dragonborn and that seems like a really cool race to play as! I also really love the tiefling aesthetic, haven't played or witnessed play as a tiefling yet, but next time I do introduce a new character it's going to be a tiefling!
Tieflings are a great race if you like a tortured past, and they are well suited for giving the DM lots of story hooks, I love having tieflings in my campaigns. Welcome to the best hobby!
Tieflings! Half-elves! Drow! Sea Elves! Kobolds! And as my favourite, OBVIOUSLY changelings! As a bard player, (and just high-charisma score player) I love changelings and their abilities! Just so fun!

I'm the idiot that decides to make Phil Swift in DnD.
I tend to play tieflings a lot, mostly because they're cool looking devil people. And the fact that they have the Feral option from ScAG means I can use that to make them better at the classes I like to play, like rogue and monk. I have soft spot for Dragonbron and Genasi, too. Dragonborn because they don't get played often and have pretty neat abilities (breathe weapons!). I think I like Genasi because of my infamous fish man snake-oil salesman character. Also I think their elemental theming makes them pretty versatile.
I'm really enjoying my Kobold, the light vulnerability allows for some really cool tactical decisions. Having a negative strength modifier has been very fun in RP I arm wrestled knowing I'd lose and had a lot of fun playing up my ego. Cower and Beg creates an almost Barbarian style moment where you get to RP an emotional meltdown...and Pack Tactics is just great, as a way to help reduce the negatives of the sunlight and its a nice boon to have for combat.
All Elves, all the time.

I enjoy different races at different times. They’re all fun.

There are cool role-playing hooks with every race, but warforged will always have a special place in my heart.

I can act like I want to try out all the other races, but in the end, I always go back to half-orc.
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Human, 'cause you get +1 on everything/feat. Good for pretty much any class.
kenku is my favorite, with tiefling as a close second.

Tough choice for me, but always been partial to Dwarves and Elves, they have always been a core part of my fantasy experience from books to gaming.

I like the Goliths not sure why.
I really enjoy my Dragonborn, but my halfling bard was the first character and I have always liked hobbits.

So far I'm just very satisfied.
