Making a level 11 Armorer Artificer (from Tasha's Cauldron) on D&D Beyond. I am wondering if the Arcane Armor (level 3) and Armor Modifications (level 9) subclass features have been added functionally to the D&D Beyond character sheet yet? So far I cannot see any way to mark a piece of Armor in my inventory as my Arcane Armor and then convert it into four separate pieces as part of the Armor Modifications.
My simple workaround is to just make custom items which represent the helmet, boots and special weapons, and where the original Armor represents the chest. Nonetheless, have I missed something on the digital character sheet? Please let me know :)
Also, the way that Armor Modifications is worded suggests that the Armorer's special weapons are weapons i.e. viable for enhanced weapon infusions. Would people agree/disagree with this and why?
According to the support thread, "Armor Modifications. We don't yet have a system to allow the separate infusion of individual armor pieces." I think having multiple sets of Plate (or whatever armor) in your inventory, and setting all but one to 0 weight, might be the way to go for now.
And yes, based on the wording, it sounds like the Gauntlets would take the Enhanced Weapon infusion.
