Whats been one of the most random moments when you or someone in your party got a N20 and just did the craziest shit they should not have accomplished. The one for me is my party had to help a lizardfolk take out a goblin in their land, so when we got there the dragonborn paladin just asked the Orc to leave, he rolled a N20 so the thing just said ok, and left.

Marvarax andSora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
I had a character that had been getting more and more paranoid during a homebrew game I was in. He had the classic "they're all working together, they're out to get us!" mentality. When he learned that he was RIGHT, he had a breakdown and teleported away (~lvl9 sorcerer).
The only other caster in the party had a single use of scry to find me. Because of our respective stats, the only way for me to resist the scry was a nat20. I, outside the game, hoped they would find me. And of course, I rolled a nat20.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
I joined into an IRL campaign with a friend's group. Just before I came in, the whole room (5 total) swore to me up and down that my friend was a walking luck magnet. In the previous session, the party encountered a pair of hill giants. The strongest party member was a healthy lvl 2, so this was purely designed to be a non-combat encounter. Not being one to follow a mold or pass up a chance at wanton murder, my friend (the rogue) decided to slip around and try for an ambush.
The DM was the realistic type: present a solid, feasible plan and support with rolls, then you can have nearly anything. So to make the long story short, my buddy rolls a TRIPLE N20!(!!) He uses these rolls to 1.) Vault onto a giant from a hiding place 2.) Deliver a marvelous called shot to the giant's head (rolled max damage, DM ruled it as a mortal wound because double N20 is amazing) then 3.) Leap to the other giant and deliver another called shot to its eyes (don't remember if the third N20 was for the jump or attack). So.... A group of lvl 2 adventurer's decided to pick a fight with 2 hill giants and started Round 1/2 with 1 dead/comatose and the other blind. Thank you ridiculously goos luck, and thank you to a DM who didn't just say "You made the jump" or "roll double damage for your short sword".
Related note: that same night where I was told this crazy story, our paladin had a d20 check that was guaranteed except by a natural 1. Everyone was willing to let it be an auto-success, but I said (as "the new guy"), "Better roll it, just in case." Guy rolled a natural 1, no auto-wins were allowed ever again, and I was synonymous with bad rolls.

Last weekend the party I was DMing in HotDQ we’re trying one of the early missisons of rescuing the townspeople in the sanctuary while the bad guys in three groups attack it. They decided they were going to have the thief dress up as a cultist and run up to the largest group and say “The boss needs you on the other side of town I’ll stay here.” Then he rolled a natural 20. What was going to be a very hard fight ended up being pretty damn easy as half of the bad guys just said “Okay!” And left.
