Hi! My name is Jor (she/her), I'm 28, and I'm a Canadian living in Finland.

I've been running a long-term campaign that is still pretty fresh - we have played 9 sessions so far. We play at 10:30am GMT+3 every other Tuesday for 4 hours, but we may squeeze in an extra session in the off week if I have the content ready (we have done so once so far). The players have just arrived to a new town and are sort of at a fresh starting point.

This is not a spot that I am 100% determined to fill, as 4 is a great party size - however, if I find somebody who seems like an excellent fit for the group, I would be open to it. As such, I would definitely like to talk before we agree to have you join to ensure you would be a good fit for our party. I'm specifically looking for a woman, femme or nonbinary player so we can balance out our player group. Any level of experience is fine - if you're new, I only ask that you are willing to read the relevant parts of the PHB and become familiar with your character's abilities; I'm more than happy to help if you're willing to do your part. We currently have 4 players between the ages of 18 and 33 from Denmark, Australia, the US, and the UK. We are a very friendly and positive group and have strong values in kindness and respect, especially relating to mental health, LGBTQ+, and disabilities. 

The party as it is consists of a warlock, a druid, a cleric, and a monk, and we are at level 5 (we started at level 4). We can go into more details about the campaign setting when we talk, but it is a serious - and at times, a little dark/heavy - setting, but we still laugh and have fun. We are also very interested in character development and as such, all of my players have very in depth backstories, so I do ask that any new player be willing to work with me on that. Depending on where the players are in the story, there are sometimes sessions with no combat where there is a focus on exploration, shopping, or roleplay either between characters or with NPCs; at other times, there are more classic dungeon crawl situations with back-to-back combat, as well as various encounters (not all combat) during travel.

Table rules are below. Please ensure you read and agree to them before expressing interest in playing.

• Age must be 18+. This table is intended for mature players and mature topics may be included in the game.
• Character sheets will be on D&D Beyond. Maps/VTT will be on the AboveVTT extension for Google Chrome which works via D&D Beyond.
• Voice only will be used in Discord. Please make sure you know how to use Discord prior to starting, and ensure your input/output devices are properly set up and working. Players must use Push To Talk or remain muted when not talking to eliminate background noise, which can be very distracting for other players.
• Absolutely no hate speech or bullying will be tolerated (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, et cetera). Anything of this nature, whether intended with malice or repeated mistakes with insufficient attempt at correcting, will result in your being removed from the table and game. D&D is for everybody.
• No graphic sexual content or connotations. Let’s make sure everybody stays comfortable.
• Show respect for the DM and for the other players. It can be hard to find a D&D group that is a good match for you. If you play two or three sessions and don't feel like this is the group for you, talk to me and we can see your character out in a way that makes sense.
• Be punctual and reliable. I understand that life happens and things come up, but unreliability makes it difficult for everybody at the table. It's okay if you need to miss a session here or there, but I do expect this to be kept to a minimum. Continued issues with tardiness or absence will result in your removal from the game. Other players, including the DM, respect your time, so please respect everyone else's.
• Off-limit topics: Prior to the game starting, I will discuss with each player privately if they have any topics that they deem to be off limits for them (ie. certain types/levels of violence, offensive language, etc). I will make sure all players are aware of off-limit topics before we begin. If at any point during a session a player is uncomfortable with something happening, they can either send me a quick private message on Discord simply reading "x", or speak up by using our table’s safe word, LEMON PIE. In either case, the DM will then inform the table we should move on to a new topic or discussion, and the table should promptly move on. If you choose to send me a private message in this way, I will not reveal which player sent the message to the group to ensure a safe environment and privacy for everyone.

Still looking for a potential new player. While I'm hoping to pick up a woman, femme or non-binary player, I'm open to any if you seem like a great fit for my existing party. :)
