You don't really have to be over 30, but I sure am. I'm a new-ish DM, been leading a campaign for about 9 months and learning a lot along the way. I can do 7-10pm EST on pretty much any night in the summer then shift a little earlier or to Sundays after that.
I create my own storylines based on player interest, characters, and what's fun to them, so a session 0 is a must. I make decisions based on what seems fair, consulting the official rules too, of course. I mix classic monsters/items/spells with some homebrew to fit the setting and themes we come up with. Open to feedback for sure, and still learning all the ways technology can support gaming.
Overall, I want to work with players who will pay attention and have an idea of what to do on their turn but not be too serious or argumentative. New players are welcome! If you have experience, that's great as long as you can be patient and laugh at the goofs we make. I prefer video chat if possible, to make it more friendly.
would you be ok with an 18 year old that just picked up the game joining? You would just have to remind me what i need to roll ill try not to get in the way too much
Im new to D&D but i have 4 years of Roleplay experience in other things
I can add two more players available Saturday nights and all day Sunday EST if there's still room. We're 28 and still new to the game, but have been studying what we need to know and are just looking for experience playing now.
Hello I am 35, and a newbie and looking for a group to join to have some fun and learn how to play the game. It would be awesome to join your group. My discord is NerdyACE#4005
Hello im 24, relatively new to DnD. Ive tried to other games before but there were complications. Id love to find a game i can invest my time into!! If theres any open spots left, my discord is Hail Ember#3975
Hello, I'd probably be the old guy of the group (44). I've been playing since second edition, but have been out of it for a while. I would love to go through the campaign and join in! I'm open to any day except Tuesday. I don't have a camera, but I do have Discord/voice.
Hi hi, you commented on my other thread, but I am certainly interested n joining a newbie friendly game.
Just to recap: I am 33, while I have played table top games before (Shadowrun), I am a total novice to DnD. I can only play on the weekends since I work the late shift weekdays in the UTC timezone. My discord is Dinky#7938.
Hello, I've been looking for the same type of group :) . I'm 30 and newish to DnD. Been playing MMOs my entire life and understand roleplay and dps
I'm down for a Season 0. Been working on a couple of character myself, lets see if they work and if not i'm flexible. I'm available Sunday- Thursday after 6pm PST
Perfect headline! I’m 42… my parents were one of those who thought d&D was a bad influence so I got ushered into video games before I could really stretch my legs in DnD. I’d be considered very new. My noobishness will extend to technology as well. Yes you might have to explain discord and how to “gather” if you will. I can commit to 7-10 weekdays this week and likely beyond, but will be unavailable over the Father’s Day weekend. I have a character baseline story developed that is perfect for a DM to fiddle with and for me to learn. It’s kinda’ a blank slate amnesiac situation. I want him to be a half elf (well some distant lineage of elf but with their bonus traits) and I want to roll naturally for everything else… including his class. If you are willing to work with me, I am very eager to play.
edit. Ended up rolling a Lawfully Good rogue. So basically he’s an amnesiac thief/assassin who thinks he doesn’t really want to remember who he was. Sticking with the name Pedeztrian. It’s what the Constable who first artested him first called him. The name stuck.

Husband and I are in our 30s and are interested if you’re still considering players. Can do similar schedule except for Saturday nights
I would love to join! I’m 18 and have never played before but would love to give the game a shot since it sounds like a lot of fun!
I’m free every night except Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and would have to stick to text only (no video calls or anything).

Hey, this sounds like fun. I'm 43 and my Saturday evening game is wrapping up, if you're entertaining that evening I'm interested.

I’m a new player and looking to get into a session. I am also over the 30 mark.
We are all set with players. Thanks everyone!
