1. Some experience with 5e, more with 3.5, and plenty of ttrpg time all told.

3. I lean more towards roleplaying, especially with crunchy backgrounds that have lots of interesting lore hooks.  Not adverse to combat at all, especially if it's with a group and DM that makes it imaginative and interesting.

4. Since I'm mostly a hero born in the wrong universe, I enjoy getting into plot and characters.  I'm an older player, but personally am very open-minded, and lean towards "light" sided characters and character drama.  Not personal or player drama, mind you!  I have enough of that at work...

1 - Experience- zero experience.  Just started to read through a few things on D&D Beyond and bought the player's handbook and the dungeon masters guide.

3- Game style- Not sure at the moment.  I could see myself enjoying many types of play and am open to new things.

4- Describe your DMing style or Player style - I like to relax and let things roll.  I play games to enjoy my time and not to be worked up.  With the zero knowledge I have I think I will probably enjoy DMing, but I want to play a few rounds before I try it.  Unless someone that's experienced wants to play through an official adventure as a player and walk me through DMing at the same time.  Maybe having no play experience will give me a unique DMing style.

Experience - I've been playing D&D for around three years with the same people the whole time, alternating campaigns. I've tried DMing twice, but both campaigns ended up falling apart because of a lack of direction. I have experience with both 5e and 3.5e

Game Style - I've only really played in hack and slash style games (only one person had D&D experience outside of the group). There have been moments where we've had some RP which I found enjoyable, but I would need to experience more ways of playing D&D to find a concrete answer.

Describe your DMing style or Player style - I tend to be fairly hands-on with the rules. I learned D&D in an environment where the rules were the final say (even looking up tweets for clarification). I like playing a variety of characters: Elf Druid, Goliath Fighter, Human Monk, and a Tabaxi Cleric  are examples of different characters I've played. My favorite character I've played so far was a Kobold Beastmaster with an Australian accent who convinced a herd of kobolds (with a tiefling's assistance and a rope in a blizzard) that he was a magician.

1 Experience: I have been playing dnd since i was little and im 38 now so i have played a longtime 1st 2nd and 3.5 new to 5e trying to get back in it not played in 8 years.
