Curse of Strahd - Mid-fantasy in an "Alt-Earth" setting.

About the adventure

This is using Curse of Strahd, based in an alternate version of our Earth, where the fantastical is possible! It will take place in the mid 1790's, so about 100 years before the events of the book this module is based on. I will have several custom rules (as well as some class and race limitations) in play so that it fits with the setting. All that aside, this is to make it as immersive as possible for you!! As my intent is to stick to some of the classic books it is based on, players will begin in Romania and it will be recommended that they stick to human or variant human. I will not be overly limiting classes however, since this is an Alt-Earth and the secrets of divine and arcane magics will have been unlocked. I aim to create a true sense of horror, suspense and tension as players explore this mountainous, hidden away region known as Barovia.
