There has never been a better time to join our West March, after an attack from Vecna who possessed one of our agents - rumors of Vecna's future plans are being discovered across the multiverse.
Vecna has been spreading rumors of mysterious artifacts throughout the multiverse. In this phase players should be tasked with uncovering rumors about the artifacts associated with Vecna. Vecna and the cultists should mostly stay “out of the picture” and only influence events indirectly. Their more direct involvement will be in later steps! The artifacts which players are investigating can be of your own design, and will be story props used by the bureau - not actual in game items for players unless they make sense and follow the normal rules for item acquisition. It is very important that these sessions are only information gathering - NOT finding the artifacts. That will be in later phases. Build a solid base of exploration which can be expanded on later.
