I'm interested.  I've been playing on and off since 2nd ed (yes all hail THAC0).  I usually play the odd characters in some way..... lizardman ranger ..... halfling barbarian .....etc but not enough to detail the game.  I try to create backstory so there is a good set of hooks for the dm to play with.  My main thing is I want a solid group that I can enjoy my time for with (ibworl weekends doing medieval faires so am free during the week) .  If like to discuss more

Hi, I'm BlaseTheBloodedAssassin, but please call me Blaze Smith (I don't know how to change my username). I have some experience playing D&D both as a player and primarily as a DM running my homebrew campaign.

I prefer to play the most vanilla characters (a Human fighter, from what I've been told).

I mainly look forward to having fun with RPing, but I also want to gain experience to improve and expand my campaigns.

• Who you are: hi my name is juliet, im someone who has been attached to dnd in some way for over 2 years now. I have played a LOT of baldurs gate 3 as my main experience with dnd, but am also playing in a campaign. I learn quickly and enjoy a game where innovation and ideas are useful. 

• What kinds of characters you like to play: the character Ive had in my mind for over a year, and the one I use currently, is a wild magic paladin with morally gray lines, but still a set of rules she follows. I tend to appreciate characters running with a little more chaos, as im very fond of gambling in games. But I know how to reel it in, and also have characters who are more focused on their path. 

• What you're looking for in a campaign/group: something with story that has me interested, and one that keeps me thinking. Im a deep appreciator of  a well written story and I think dnd is a perfect thing to make a compelling story. Gameplay wise, im someone who really enjoys combat, as its a special kind of puzzle to solve, and can be very creative. But at a table where combat is little, I still can be happy, as long as theres the outward knowledge there wont be combat 
• as a player: I am willing ro work with a group and meet the desires they have, but I will need direct information for some things. Like I may be slightly drawn to combat, but if you tell me there wont be much combat, then I change my playstyle.
