A Level 5 One-Shot Adventure

Across Eldor, the Steel Drakes are known as one of the most respected adventuring guilds in the world. Whether hunting monsters, recovering lost relics, or answering desperate calls for aid, their contracts draw skilled adventurers from every corner of the realm.
Recently, a troubling request reached the guild halls. Far to the south, in the desolate wastes known as the Voiceless Sands, a privately funded excavation uncovered ancient ruins believed to belong to the long-lost Bloodwright civilization. Scholars from Neverwinter’s Arcanum Collegiate arrived to study the site, protected by hired guards and laborers as they dug beneath the sand.
But soon after the excavation reached a labyrinth buried beneath the desert, people began to disappear. Workers vanished. Travelers along the nearby route stopped returning.
Concerned by the growing reports, the Steel Drakes dispatched a five-member investigation team to secure the site and escort the scholars to safety. Word was expected within two days. Several days have now passed and that team has not returned.
You have accepted the mission and received a sealed letter bearing the crest of the Steel Drakes, delivered by the guild’s falcon couriers. Inside is a simple commission: Locate the missing Steel Drake team. Rescue any surviving scholars or workers. Find and eliminate whatever is causing this.
Your supplies have been prepared. The contract is signed. All that remains is to descend into the ruin.

Creating your character

1) After joining the game, please join the Discord server using the link in the message sent. Go to the Welcome Channel and follow the steps there.
2) Create your character on D&D Beyond through the campaign link in the message sent. Assistance in character creation is always available as well. Simply message me on Discord to get started.
3) When creating your own Character from D&D Beyond:
- Use any Species (exclude ability score increases from 2014 species)
- 2024 Rules, Backgrounds and Feats
- Standard Array for attributes

Include in your inventory:
- 1 Uncommon Magical Items
- 2 Non-Magical Items of your choosing (after starting items)
- 2 Potions of Healing
