[LFP] Free Online D&D 5.5e Text Campaign — Discord Asynchronous Play — Eastern Time / ET

Text-Based is something I have never done, but I would like to give it a shot as it intrigues me. Along with that I like the in-character writing investigation, rp and meaningful character choices.

1. I have perhaps 3 years of experience being a DM (all with 2014 rulings), however barely any as a player. So I suppose novice player experience.

2. I have never played in a text-based game. I'm not quite sure what to expect, but it sounds like it would be comfortable sitting back from home and playing entirely through text.

3. On most days I'l be able to post a couple of times as I have free time to dedicate to this between 6 AM and 6 PM ET. There will be one day each week where I wont be able to post.

4. Martial Support. Something like Fighter Battle Master. That or either a Fighter Psi Warrior.

5. How exactly does text play work, I couldn't quite gather from your (Game style) description. also how does combat work in text play? Do we wait just like in regular combat for one person to complete their turn until we go on to the next? However you have noted that we will receive handouts on how text play works, so I suppose you won't have to answer this.
