Hello adventurers!

I'm looking for 1–2 players to join an ongoing D&D 5.5e campaign called Long Rest Only. We've recently had a few players step away due to scheduling, and we're looking for someone who enjoys roleplay, character interactions, humor, and becoming part of a fun group.

New players are absolutely welcome!

No experience is required. We currently have four newer players in the party, and I'm happy to teach anyone willing to learn.

About the Campaign

Long Rest Only is a character-driven fantasy adventure filled with cozy exploration, lighthearted humor, memorable NPCs, island mysteries, and the bonds formed between unlikely companions.

Expect campfire conversations, seaside discoveries, hidden ruins, local festivals, unexpected heroics, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being your character.

The tone balances warmth and wonder with classic D&D adventure, creating a story about friendship, finding joy in the little moments, and learning that sometimes the greatest adventures happen when you're trying your hardest not to have one.

• Character concept or classes you enjoy: I love a good kenku or tabaxi, also open to elves, humans, or tieflings. I like to play monk or fighter. 

• Anything else you'd like me to know: I enjoy a mix of RP and dice. I think organic roleplaying is the best way to flesh out characters and get to know one another. My biggest petpeeve are dms/players that want to nitpick each other for the sake of rules instead of roleplay. I think everyone should have flexibility to some degree. Especially when they are just learning!

• Character concept or classes you enjoy: I really haven't found a favorite. so far I've played a sorcerer and a cleric. In Baldur's Gate I really enjoyed playing a paladin. My favorite character I've played so far was an optimistic sorcerer who came from a cult and is enjoying exploring the world. happy go lucky with a bit of a gory/ creepy background.

• Anything else you'd like me to know: I love to roleplay. I'm a theater kid in an adult body so it's right up my alley. I read a ton of fantasy, including cozy stuff so I'm always down to vibe and have a great time. I am really flexible around what the party needs.
