Heya! I'm a somewhat new player to D&D, I originally tried it back around maybe 2012-1013 but had a pretty crappy group irl that made me lose interest in the game so I never went back until somewhat recently. I have always 'wanted' to play D&D and learn more about it but never really got the chance! As of now, I'm currently in a campaign that 'sorta' struggles to play on a regular basis haha, but it's been a lot of fun and has lead to me creating various characters I'd like to fiddle with! I'm still very new, really have only played 4 real sessions now not including the ones from the past so I'm aware I have a good deal to learn. But I have been roleplaying for a good chunk of my life and am an arts student with a love for creative writing, world building and things of that nature so D&D is a magnet for my creative outlets and I'd love to just, have the chance to play it more and have some fun with it so I can really learn more of the mechanics and different tricks to the game.
I'd honestly like short campaigns or just one-shots that involve some fun storytelling or roleplay experience mixed into the combat, I'm not one for 100% combat focused games and really revel in getting to know the other players and developing a dynamic between the party members while exploring the different details everyone put into their backstories. While of course that's not always required it's just what I eventually hope to find! (And basically is what my current main campaign revolves around, oh boy we are criminals now). Anyway, my Discord is Grimlock#4645 so feel free to shoot me an add if you have any discord groups going on for things like this, I'd love to meet some new people and chatter around. And for the record, I only have experience with 5e! Though I have fiddled with some Pathfinder and made a homebrew system or sixty at some point.

I'm not big on the solo DM/Player experience, the games more fun to me in a group plus it's often the best way to learn! (A bit intimidating though I will admit) I tried adding yer discord but it didn't work, I fixed mine up above so feel free to add me if you are eventually wanting to put together a group of some sort!
