Maybe Unearthed Arcana will at least bring out some more sword oriented spells beyond those 4 cantrips.

No, but I haven't added the Wildermont material to my site library yet. But can I ask if there might be a way to use some of the touch evocations? Like, casting Shocking Grasp while holding a sword, could I channel the spell through the metal? Or reach down and use it while touching a puddle of water. Could I channel the energy through the water to the enemy standing in it?
