Well, I saw this thread start the other day and now I might have missed out.

I am 48. Still have my first edition beginners box set from middle school. Never got to play until college, played a bit,  but our group discovered Champions and fell in love with role playing super heroes. Fast forward to today, got 2 girls, a junior in college and one who just graduated high school. Oldest got me hooked on watching Critical Roll on Youtube  and she has started to play. Youngest wants me to DM for her and some of her friends. But I too have an itch to play and rolled up a character on here. I am eastern time zone, but not sure I can do every week. Also I don't have a discord yet. I guess I need to go figure that out. While inexperienced, love all things geeky - Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, played WOW (almost too much, had to quit cold turkey). played other RPG video games.

Looks like you guys are getting things rolling. I'd like to jump into the group and join you guys on Discord as well. I'm 53 and got my first boxed set for Christmas '79. Played up till '85 when I met the girl I married and life started. Wanting to get back into a group now that I have some time on my hands but can only commit to a game every other week. 

Unlike most of you guys, I've never really played D&D (or any roleplaying games) until the last year (got hooked) and I recently turned 50. Always wanted to play when I was growing up but never could find anyone else who wanted to. Was lucky to find an offline group before the pandemic (now we play online). Just happy to see other people my age playing (pretty sure I'm the oldest in my group, lol).
