Game: D&D 5e, new campaign, starter campaign (Dragon of Icespire Peak), maybe 5 - 10 sessions depending on the speed of everything
Group type: Online 
Experience: Any, including beginners - please be respectful of new players, and just have some fun!
Location/Timezone: New Zealand (NZ), NZT (GMT +12)
Schedule: Weekly, Tuesdays 7pm NZT for ~3-4 hour sessions
Roles sought: Players, up to 5 or 6 maximum, 3 minimum
Game style: A very casual type game, especially for new players, basic roleplaying (don't need voices or anything, just try to do the things your characters would do!), Theatre of the mind combat (no minis or maps etc).

How it will be run: just over discord with voice and video of faces (just for a more personal touch really), roll your own dice (either physical or find an app, I'll trust what you say you roll, no dramas!). Also characters made on dndbeyond would be fantastic so I can see what your stats and such are!

What to expect from me: I'm Dan, a pretty new DM, really loving it so trying to branch out into the online world! I'll not railroad you too much, and will try to let you do anything you can think of, rules are made to be bent! I'm a big subscriber of the #1 rule of prioritising fun over all else. Also, being pretty new, please don't expect me to be too knowledgeable of the rules, I'll make things up on the fly if I don't know, then we can return to it after the session to see what the legit rule is. I do know some stuff though so hopefully I can walk you through a bit if you need a bit of a hand. Let's learn stuff together!

What not to bring: any kind of bigotry, hate or just being a dick in general, or creepy vibes. 

What to bring: a reasonable amount of focus, and a willingness to jump in and give it a go! Also a willingness to listen to other players and work together (I'd prefer no one wanders off to slaughter the towns guards, too often at least...)

Other: there will be some swearing and the odd dick joke I'm sure, so make sure you're mature enough for those (not too mature though!). If life happens and you can't make it just let me know and people can jump in/out as needed, no drama.

Hi, Im new to D&D, but I'm very enthusiastic to get into it. My friends got me the starter Set and then proceeded to not be interested or willing to learn or create characters (as of right now) and I desperately want to learn and get a feel if I even will like it long term.
