Reaching for his quiver, Ammus stood and tilted his head down in a solemn gesture towards the Undermayor. "Sir, I swear I shall spare no effort in finding them. Adalai,"he said, facing towards the tiefling. "I'm going with you. Our best course of action is to questions Aleesa's friends, then investigate Naked Hill. We may find some clues to their disappearances."
Kellan turns to Ammus and Adalai. "We should all meet back up at Naked Hill after we are done talking to the friends and searching the rooms."
Finally, he turns back to Harbin. "If you'd be so kind as to show me to Aleesa's room, I can search it to see if she left any clues as to her whereabouts."

[[OOC: I'm back. Hope we didn't lose too much momentum. ]]
I have the following:
Misty and Kellan: Searching Aleesa's room.
Adalai, Cyst, and Ammus: Questioning Aleesa's friends.
Tristan: Searching the Trapper's house.
I'm gonna make an out of character suggestion that Tristan go with the Aleesa's room crew, and everyone meets up at the trapper's house before hitting the woods.

Adalai shoots an amused look over at his half-elven friend as he mentions searching through the girls room before giving a small chuckle and a nod of his head in agreement. Looking back towards Ammus and Cyst, he gives a small flick of his tail towards the door. "Let's get our directions and head on out. I'm sure an enlightening conversation awaits us." Standing from his chair, Adalai stretches his hands over his head and scrunches up his face with effort, before shaking out his legs. "I can smell the heroes feast already."

Tristan chimes in, amused, "Is that what that smell is?"
"At any rate, Kellan, I've changed my mind - I think I'm with you. One weird disappearance would be a mystery. Two is a trend, and three is a pattern. I think if we find one of them, we probably would have a good idea of how to find the rest. The girl's room is our first, best chance."
Answering Cyst, The Undermayor says, "Well, she hangs out with a group about her age, they tend to hang out near the falls, or one or two spots in the woods. They've all been ordered to stay close, so I expect you'll find them at picnic ground in front of the falls. The closest to her are Daria, a red-haired and freckled human girl, and Jonas, a very young dwarf boy with an embarrassingly wispy beard."
To everyone, he says, "So, I'll bring some you to my home and give you access to her room, and the whole house for that measure. The rest I assume will check out the Falls."
The party separates, half going to the falls, and half to the undermayor's house.
The Falls: You approach the picnic grounds, a nice grassy spot overlooking the lake where the falls crash. You see 5 young people there, and pick out Daria and Jonas. They are all kinda relaxing, sitting about, one of them is playing a lute. They grow silent as you approach.
The House: The undermayor leads you to his house, and goes inside and brings his wife and youngest son out. "We'll stay out of your way as you search." The house is obviously well-to-do for the area, but still has the rustic homeyness common to the town. Aleesa's bedroom is on the second floor, along with three others. Downstairs, there is a kitchen, dining room, and large living room, which has a curio cabinet decorarated with objects from the summer kingdoms.

Kellan nods respectfully at Harbin as they enter his home. He's never been inside the undermayor's house before. It's nice, certainly much nicer than his own humble cabin on the outskirts of town. Figuring that they should waste as little time as possible, he heads directly to Aleesa's room and begins to look around. He's especially interested in finding any letters or diary entries that could detail what Aleesa's plans were and where she may have gone, but he's also looking for anything that seems unusual or out of place.
Aleesa's room: The only thing that seems really out of place is a box under her bed containing her diary and a shed skin from a common snake.
Aleesa's diary: Her last few entries are absolutely obsessed with an older "real man" named SIlas who says he wants to take her away and form a life with her when the time is right.

Kellan retrieves Aleesa's diary from underneath her bed. He also removes the snake skin and frowns at it. What in the world is she doing with this? Did she keep a snake as a pet? As Kellan reads the diary entries, his excitement at potentially finding information that will lead him to Aleesa turns into a sick jealousy as he talks about this man named Silas. Anger follows quickly on the heels of jealousy as Kellan considers the possibility this Silas could be responsible for Aleesa's disappearance. He grips the diary a little too firmly as he turns to Tristan and reveals his findings.
(Would Kellan know Silas or have heard of a man by that name?)

Adalai gives the group an easy smile as the trio approaches, he gives a small nod towards the one playing the flute calling out to them. "That's not too bad. You should ask Oleira if she'll let you play at the Roost, gods above know that I'd sing along." He turns his gaze over to the friends of Aleesa, his smile broadening slightly. "Say, aren't you two friends of Aleesa? I have a little bit of a favor to ask. See, a buddy of mine was supposed to meet up with her last night but she didn't show. Now he's worried that something's happened to her, and I wanna put his mind at ease." Adalai leans in, his smile turning into a bit of a self-deprecating smirk as he gives his tail a small flick. "Between us, I think he's trying to delude himself into thinking he didn't just get stood up, but just in case something's wrong, he wanted to send someone who could help, so. Here I am."

Ammus just stood back as Adalai questioned Aleesa's friends. As he had problems communicating with new people, he wouldn't be helpful here. Hearing his friend's banter, Ammus smiled. Adalai always knew what to say to get information. Not wanting to interfere just yet, Ammus sat down at another bench nearby.
Upon hearing Kellan's information, Tristan's nose turns up.He tentatively holds a hand out for the snakeskin. "Nothing good comes from snakes. Can I see that?"
Anything weird about the snakeskin? Can he tell whether it's recent, or whether it had been shed a while ago?
