While Clarac responds to Prince Makova, Vrox gets ready to attack. He casts Swift Quiver, nocks an arrow, and draws his bow. He'll ready an attack in case anyone goes before the next round.
[[ OOC: It's not clear to me whether Khessa used her Cone of Cold on the same round that Khessa was speaking or whether that starts in the next round. ]]
Movement: None. Remain hidden. Action: Ready an attack on the knight in dark armor with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600), rolling the attack with advantage because he's presumably an unseen attacker based on the previous Stealth roll Readied attack: 31 Damage: 14 (magical piercing) + 4 (radiant) + 3 (psychic) = 21 (total) Trigger: when anyone in his party or any of the opponents start the fight (cast a spell, fire a bow, make a melee attack) Bonus Action: Cast spell (LVL 5 slot) Swift Quiver on his mundane quiver Free Action: Item interaction: draw an arrow

"My guess would be that they have been transformed into wights or similar undead," Akkron whispers back to Clarac. "Most likely a variety that is intelligent but not free-willed. My suggestion would be to hit them with all the holy spells and smites that you can. You're probably doing them a favor."
The high elves and the human men-at-arms all appear to be alive, though they glow with either a purple or red, perhaps due to an influence over them.
Khessa passes the Death Lance to Alfred, behind her, and instead wields her faithful Staff Of Power, sprinting towards the center of the battlefield, while the faithful construct remains behind her to help her defend herself .
As soon as she arrives there, the blonde arcane warrior points her powerful staff at the dense array of opponents and releases an icy vortex of cold that hits half of them!
[[ OOC: Khessa moves 30', reaching the new position, then uses 5 charges of her staff to unleash a Cone Of Cold. I have drown the 60' cone on the map - 60' = 12 squares. It is the black triangle, because I checked, area is intended to be that way, it is not a section of a circle as I thought. As you can see, half of the enemies are hit: cultists, high elves, prince, knigth and about half of the demons. Khessa evaluates the damage dealt, because if there are many enemies that seem to be about to collapse after the Cone Of Cold, she may decide to use Action Surge to unleash another spell and finish them off... ]]
The cone of cold blasts out, enveloping the left side of the enemy. All of the cultists freeze and crumble to the ground dead. Frost covers the high elves, the Prince and the black knight next to him.
The largest demon shakes his wings, the ice falling from it, then raises his large axe and with a fiendish smile, points it at Tyk. The bloodletters howl and raise their black swords in challenge.
As the frost blast hits Tyekanik leaps towards the largest demon, landing amidst the mass of evil as he gains his giant size and, paying no attention to anyone but the largest beast, begins his assault.

Akkron looks over the battlefield and decides to try to focus down the biggest fiend first while also locking up a few dangerous enemies.
The lich fires off a Tasha's mind whip at 4th-level, targeting the big demon, the blackguard, and the prince. Each must make a DC 24 Int saving throw, taking 15, 11, and 10 psychic damage (respectively), half-damage on successful saves. If they fail the saves, they also lose their reaction, and must choose between an action, a bonus action, or movement on their turns.
Meanwhile, his summoned aberration targets the biggest demon with 3 eye beams.

Desiring for Tyekanik not to be surrounded by demons, Clarac calls for Wetherbee, climbing into the saddle as he runs by. She rides up to the frontmost demons and men-at-arms while casting a protective spell on Wetherbee. Seeing that the men-at-arms are under the influence of something, Clarac shouts, "Be strong and free yourselves, warriors!" and tries to overcome that red glow by her mere presence. But her tentative mercy does not extend to the demons to her left, at whom she slashes with her sword.
OOC: Clarac is attempting to use her Aura of Devotion on the men-at-arms. If they are indeed charmed, it might do something, but the rules are not clear to me on whether it can actually suppress/end existing charmed conditions. And even if her aura can overcome the red glow, I am also not sure whether the men-at-arms can count as "friendly creatures" for the purposes of her aura, even if Clarac wants it to apply to them.

[[ OOC: OK. If Vrox could cast Swift Quiver before the fight begins, he'll start round 1 with 4 attacks! ]]
As the battle begins, Vrox steps out from hiding, trying to maintain half-cover behind a tree. He begins firing his bow at a rate only made possible through magic. A band of tiny fairy spirits with iridescent wings seem to conjure new arrows from his quiver and then hover nearby, each holding an arrow. As soon as he fires one arrow, the next fairy places an arrow in his hand so that he can immediately draw the bow and fire again.
Vrox focuses his fire on the Bloodletter demons. He prefers to hit 4 different demons each turn, but he'll focus his attacks on demons who are already injured first, if possible.
Movement: Stepping out from hiding but remaining half-covered by the tree if possible.
Action: Two attacks with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600), targeting two different cultists, rolling the first attack with advantage (because he's presumably an unseen attacker based on the previous Stealth roll)

[[ OOC: @Aaggie - in round 1, Vrox intended to target the 4 Bloodletter demons on the north side of the big winged demon.
Sorry. The 'cultist' was a copy-and-paste error from the previous fight. Vrox was trying to hit the Bloodletter demons that are north of the big winged demon. I figured that the Bloodletters are tall enough to target over the other people in between him and them.
Also, note that Vrox generally tries to target different opponents on his turn. I know that the standard strategy is to focus attacks on one opponent, but Vrox does marginally more damage if he hits different opponents with each attack. He still tries to focus first on any opponent who looks nearly dead or, barring that, the same 4 opponents each round to wear them down so that another party member can finish them off. If Vrox hit just one opponent with all 4 attacks, those damage rolls are a little incorrect. ]]

She moves quickly around the fray (on horseback if possible) then towards the Men-At-arms. She casts Dispel Evil and Good.
When she is able she begin to brush (touch) the Men-at-arms to Break the Enchantment on them.
As you envelop yourself and touch the effected men-at-arms, it has no effect though you can see there was a great shimmer of energy that distracted them. The source of their enchantment must be very powerful indeed, but due to the energy washing over them, they all are at a disadvantage and can't attack this round.
