(Therris also took two drinks, and would have been trying to match however much Fane drunk, if I miscalculated and drank less lemme know and I'll pay for the extra. Though I dunno how your formula works, it might also factor the fact that Fane's an elf and Therris is a sailor by trade, and so one probably does have a higher natural resistance to drink than the other)

Fane looks at Therris and mutters to herself, I speak four languages but I’m still not sure what the hell he just said to me,then adds out loud “I’m fine, really, just moved a bit too quickly. I probably should have had some of the bacon to line my stomach. Anyways, there is work to be done, let’s head to the boat!”
Once outside, Leo will land on he shoulder, hooting softly and sharing what she saw while waiting outside.
Leo doesn't have much to report. It is a lazy, warm day in a small port town. The little owl is put off by the demeanor of the local gulls and terns. While a spirit and not a true bird, he would typically roost and socialize with the beasts of the air when not on your shoulder or performing duties for you. Here, though, the local birds seem close-ranked and belligerent toward outsiders. He is a little sad.
The party makes their way back to the shore, retracing their steps from this morning's tour. They keep going past the long dock this time, to where the stonework piers give way to beaches of white sand and crushed rock west of town. A short walk down this beast is a cluster of homes and cabins which are collectively known as Crabbers Cove. The homes here are weathered, built of cheaper materials that the stone and nicely painted buildings of Saltmarsh-proper. Lying on the beaches between them are folded nets, small boats, and row after row of wood-and-wire crab traps.
Eron immediately spies Geralt Wildeye, readying his boat on the beach and looking nervously out at the sea. You all notice that conditions have changed since you came ashore. There is now a stiff onshore breeze, driving waves in toward the beaches. While the sky above is still blue and clear, to the far south the horizon is a solid line of grey clouds.
Geralt addresses Eronas you all approach. "Best get this done, if you're fixed on doin' it. I doubt we have more than two hours before that storm 's upon us." Looking down at the boat, you see it is a wide rowboat, 14' long. Five bench seats would allow 10 to sit inside before it were to be too crowded. He has removed his nets and lines, setting them on the shore next to the boat, but he still has his anchor in the boat. It is 50' of heavy rope ending in three rocks, fixed together by a rusted iron ring and tied to the end.
From the shore, you can see a vast field of flotsam bobbing in the waves.

You would all be aware of the Keoish laws on Maritime Salvage.
If the owner of the recovered salvage property is known (ie. the salvage was recovered from a known/identified shipwreck/an actual ship is recovered) then the person/persons who recover the owner's ship or cargo in peril at sea is entitled to a reward commensurate with 1/2 the value of the property saved.
If the owner of the recovered salvage property is unknown/cannot be identified (ie. a bit of debris found washed up on a beach, etc) then the person/persons who recover the property are entitled to keep it.
In the case of a dispute (ie someone claims ownership of recovered proper but it is not agreed upon by the parties), it is to be settled by the local lord/governor/mayor/guard as appropriate for the locale.
This is more or less consistent with most of the local realms. Some grant the recoverer value equal to 100% of the recovered property.

Regdus looks carefully at the woman’s face, noting in his mind that he will have to come back and have a chat with her, maybe when she will be in a good mood.

As the boat puts out to water, Geralt mans the oars while the others direct him toward the middle of the debris field.
There is a chop on the water now, as the strong wind from the south drives the waves and makes for disquieted seas. This close to shore, it isn't too bad and Geralt has no difficulty controlling his boat. Scanning the debris field, there are crates, barrels, and small pieces of wood all over the surface, but no corpses are visible. If bodies have been pulled into these eddies, then they must be suspended in the waters below the surface, or caught up in debris on the bottom.
The boat is presently sitting above 15' of water. From what you can see of the bottom, it is sandy but broken up by outcroppings of rock and boulders. The waters have become turbid with the wave action as silt and sand are disturbed. Visibility underwater is limited to 30'.
A bell tolls in the distance, and eyes turned inland spy the Temple of Procan on the bluff overlooking Crabbers Cove. A lonely figure is just barely visible in the bell tower, watching your progress... Father Wellgar.
[For this search, I need to know who, if anyone, is going into the water with Eron. Don't worry... this part of the Azure Sea is quite warm.
