The canopy of these trees is covered in webs and down from those webs are descending 3 giant Spiders with long, spikey legs. Looking to make a meal of you all.
Julius would stare directly at his opponents, he didnt want to let this adventuring party down as he rushed foward, slashing spider 1 with his broadsword slashing at its neck.
Spiders 2 and 3 find success in their attacks. Landing a solid blow against poor little Peet and a less damaging bite against Erdon. Both need to roll a constitution saving throw vs poison.
Dungho Dave, embarrassed at having missed the signs, which seem all to obvious now will use his famous horde breaker technique to rapidly fire two arrows. One at Spider 2 who just nailed the little kobold and one at Spider 3 that is next to it biting on the gnome gentleman.

Spider 3- Attack: 28 Damage: 19

Erdon and DeDe move swiftly against Spider 2 and deal a combined 19dmg, severely wounding the creature. The metal companion rending a few of its legs clean off. This Spider is very bloody, and literally on its last legs.
Julius, engaged with the first spider does something unexpected and a flaming bolt of energy strikes the Spider, gravely wounding it. It also doesnt look so good, but it still has some life in it.

Daves first shot ricochets off a branch and misses Spider 2 but the second arrow strike clean through the spiders brain with the
