The Captain runs to the aid of Crew C, D, E, attacking Merrow B x2 with a Scimitar, and x1 with a Dagger.

After you had all delivered your attacks, the Merrows turned their wrath onto you. In an instant, their attacks rendered Squall and Koya unconscious, and one of the knocked one of the Crew mates out to sea. His body did not resurface.
OOC: ok, first round of combat over. I'm really surprised how good the Merrows rolled.

Okay, I got it to post. Rather than creating a series of new posts while I tried to get it to work, I played around with my previous post. You can see the map as it currently stands up there.
Bert, focused on merrow A, whispers the chorus to a song under his breath, and the sea takes what is hers, to the deeps with yellow curs, as the beast is wracked in pain. Casting Dissonant Whispers for 15 pts of psychic damage (( and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesn’t have to move away.))
CrewB, now in a wrathful mourning over the death of CrewA, fires another bolt from his Light Crossbow at MerrowD. Attack: 16; Hit: 7
CrewC, CrewD, and CrewE launch a joint attack on MerrowB, firing three Light Crossbows at the same time. Attack: 23; Hit: 5 | Attack: 15; Hit: 8 | Attack: 9
After the barrage of arrows from the Crew, you can see that MerrowB is on the brink of death.
