First and foremost, thanks for taking the time to read this. I want to be upfront, my last pass through at this resulted in having to end the previous campaign.
That said, there was a lot of takeaway from it, and since then there have been many improvements made. I am looking for a small pocket of people to test out the current deploy, configuration, and learn more about Foundry.
Style: PBP - RP Focus, with Combat || West Marches
Status: Beta (I want to learn Foundry more before releasing it fully)
My Active Posting Time: 3:30 AM - 6:00 AM EST and 7:30-8:15 PM EST. (Depends on the kiddos)
Whats currently built:
outering ring of a capital city, Emberfall, I am working on building the rest of the city (probably a week or 2 more).
One shot maps
Some Story Arch maps
Turns out that many webm files are HUGE, rebuilding a lot of the maps by hand through other tools will take time. Though I do expect to have the outering of the city in place by the end of the weekend an possible kick off as soon as Monday for this beta run.
Description:
The Veilfire War – A World Born in Ash
Duskfall is young—only a century old. Born not through the slow march of time but by divine will, it was created as a proving ground for the gods, a realm forged to settle the eternal question of whose influence was strongest.
For ninety years, mortals grew beneath the quiet gaze of their makers, until the gods' pride sparked the Veilfire War. Asmodeus and the dark pantheon twisted the wager, unleashing demons and corruption upon the land. The gods of light answered, and their avatars fell to Duskfall like blazing meteors.
For ten years, the land burned. When the war ended, the gods—victorious in nothing—abandoned their creation. The avatars disappeared, leaving Duskfall scarred and silent.
Bloodhollow – The Dying Continent
Bloodhollow lies in the northwest of Duskfall—a continent of fading light. The last bastions of civilization stand fragile and flickering:
- Crimsonmarch – The human empire, still defiant but stretched thin.
- Mythrendil – The elven forest-realm, isolated and shrinking.
- Grimhaldir – The dwarven under-kingdom, whose gates are sealed, silent since the war.
The rest of Bloodhollow belongs to the savage races—orcs, trolls, and goblins—fractured but growing in strength.
The orcs of Kraggmort rule the mountains of the north and coast, the goblins of Zruk’Mar blacken the plains with smoke and rust from the eastern mounts, and the trolls of Thornshade stalk the forests. For now, they fight among themselves. But each day, their warbands draw closer.
A Precipice of War
The gods are gone. The heavens are silent. The alliances of men, elves, and dwarves strain under the weight of their own survival.
Bloodhollow stands alone—one breath away from collapse.
