The Torch bearer seems to know where you are going.
The Sergeant speak as you walk toward the
“A concerned citizen, of some power it seems, as asked our esteemed leaders to look into the disappearance of one of his colleagues."
"Jonathan Greyclock… No joke."
"He is a wizard of some small power and has a place South in the North Ward near the Cemetery."
"The watch....." He looks around for a sec " which they sent first has been unable to find anything in the area and they can ‘t go in uninvited."
"That's where you, lucky ones, come in." he adds with a smile.
"Patrols have been sent on their way and you are to go in and see what's what." he stops abruptly and you nearly bump into each other. " Let me remind you that this is a citizen of Waterdeep with FRIENDS so keep your fingers to yourself." He strats walking again.
Catching up with the sergeant Kwisatz will first say "I know of some of Greyclock's research. Some good findings, though a few questionable conclusions as well... Regardless... Is there anything at all that's been found so far that would help us to narrow our search? From where did he disappear? And when? What tasks was he undertaking at the time?" The questions fly out from his mouth at an almost alarming rate. Kwisatz thinking that this will be a fun puzzle to solve.
The Sergeant looks down at the chatty gnome and holds up a hand to try to stall him.
"You are to go into his house and see if he is there and if not if there are any clues as to where he might be." He quikcly ads before the small wizard can find more questions " He has missed a few appointment and that is why his friend asked the watch to look into it. But they won't go into a wizards house. Wards you understand."
"I was thinking the same thing, big guy. But if nobody has managed to search the house then that may be our best place to start." Looking over at Kwisatz are noting what these arcane magic users are like. "Maybe he is just in his living room with his nose in a book and has lost all sense of time. Might be an easy job and be back at the bar in no time."
"Just be ready for anything. Wizards and their things are never straight forward. Even if you think you have things figured out stay on your toes." Alton adds, having been quiet for the most part as he dodged in and out if the steps of those taller then him. He gives the sergeant a slight glare as he makes snide comments about the watch since he was a part of the watch for years before joining up with the Grey Hands. "Oh and if any magic user can cast something to find the wards that would be a great boon. I would rather not be blasted with magic for touching anything."
